I remember! ...and for once I agree with the WTS advice. LoL. If I started watching those, they would suck out my soul.

Oooooooh... Nice one. I was going to suggest an imprint on our DNA that when read through an electron microscope read "Made in Heaven", but I like LeavingWT's answer.
If God came down to Earth and started performing miracles (without the help of any technology), I might be convinced, but I would never quite know for sure if it was God or some alien with scientific knowledge well beyond our own... But I would take the God-Alien on faith at that point. It's a bit of a stretch of the imagination for me because the concept of God is so unlikely that the proof would have to be extremely robust.
EDIT: I could use $100, as well.

Absolute knowledge vs. Relativism
by Vidqun inbelieving in a god is a leap of faith.
being an atheist is also a leap of faith, and that goes for the evolutionists too.
i believe in absolute truth as found in the bible.

It appeared to a skyscape photographer so I could have a good image of it; a physical image.
And where is this image? Setting aside for now the fact that photographs are extremely easy to doctor and that our minds notice patterns that aren't really there (especially in clouds), of course.

I would've shot her just to get her to shut up. Can't a guy rob a store in peace?
Also... she should get a better job. Seriously? They're going to charge her for getting robbed?

Question
by TheClarinetist inwow... i never pick happy times to make posts on this board... so before i continue, i give you a puppy.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amt0nq4mvci&feature=fvst.
anyway, so my other roommate is planning on moving out in january (spoke of the craziness that's been going on lately in an earlier thread).
i asked him what his plans for his portion of the lease/rent were so that we could plan accordingly, and he told us that we could find someone to cover his portion for the remainder of the lease.

What WH said. We are all jointly responsible to make sure it is paid in full. Of course, my girlfriend's lawyer cosigner made sure that he was only liable for a quarter of the rent, which leaves the landlord to sue a) a poor grandmother, b) a poor college student, or c) an extremely wealthy , well known, and influential business owner. That's assuming she goes after the cosigners, of course.
Actually... she might go after us poor people because our lawyers aren't as good. LoL

I asked him what his plans for his portion of the lease/rent were so that we could plan accordingly, and he told us that we could find someone to cover his portion for the remainder of the lease. This is the response I'm thinking of sending to him:
Yes we can [look for someone to take over your part of the lease]. But until we do, you (and by extension your dad [who cosigned for him]) will be legally liable for the entirety of the lease, just like [my girlfriend] and I are. We're going to look for someone, but it might be in your best interests to look as well.
Any comments/thoughts/suggestions?

What a week!
by TheClarinetist inwow... when it rains it pours.
i feel like ranting a little bit (i seem to do that a lot on here...), so here's a recap of everything that happened this week.. my roommate (we'll call her roommmate f) who used to be "friends" with my other roommate (we'll call him roommate m) moved out on saturday notice because roommate m punched her last thursday.
roommate f agreed to keep paying rent until we could find someone to replace her because of the short notice.. so the utilities were in roommate f's name, so we had to change names over.

Apparently it's pretty common... Though nonetheless unwelcome.

Wow... when it rains it pours. I feel like ranting a little bit (I seem to do that a lot on here...), so here's a recap of everything that happened this week.
My roommate (we'll call her Roommmate F) who used to be "friends" with my other roommate (we'll call him Roommate M) moved out on Saturday notice because Roommate M punched her last Thursday. Roommate F agreed to keep paying rent until we could find someone to replace her because of the short notice.
So the utilities were in Roommate F's name, so we had to change names over. The utility company did a credit check on us and required a $700 deposit. We had to pay it or get utilities shut off (all of them... electric, water, and even trash) , and I was the only one with the cash (which also happened to be my next 2 months rent that I had left over from my Financial Aid), so I got to fork over $300 with another $100 to be added on to each utility bill for 3 months. So that was that... Anyway, tonight I got a message from Roommate F that her Financial Aid she had applied for fell through when her Father's credit was denied, so she won't be able to help us with rent. If you remember what I said about being the only one with any money extra to spare, that means that my rent, which I was frantically trying to figure how I would pay for more than a month, just doubled... or at the very least had a third added on to it.
TL;DR: Yay! I'm about to be bankrupt again. Also, found out a couple days ago my dog may be dying.
