  DNS errors in reaching JWN??

  i am getting frequent/intermittent errors in reaching jwn.. anyone else?.

  could this be dns related?.

  How would you summarize the basic message of the Watchtower versus the Bible?

  for me personally:.

  watchtower - don't sin, don't question, don't think, don't reason, don't leave, or god will kill you in hell the big a.. bible - all dysfunction aka the "bad news" has been legally defeated by the "good news".. (i believe we are therefore free to begin naturally and progressively transitioning from a primitive type-0 civilisation if and when we choose to and when consensus reaches critical mass.

  we will become a more advanced type-1 civilisation in the next 100 years according to michio kaku in "physics of the future".).

  For me personally:

  Watchtower - don't sin, don't question, don't think, don't reason, don't leave, or God will kill you in hell the big A.

  Bible - All dysfunction aka the "bad news" has been legally defeated by the "good news".

  (I believe we are therefore free to begin naturally and progressively transitioning from a primitive Type-0 civilisation if and when we choose to and when consensus reaches critical mass. We will become a more advanced Type-1 civilisation in the next 100 years according to Michio Kaku in "Physics of the Future".)

  Satan and the demons, ghosts, spirits, fortune tellers. Are they real?

  i believe in god.

  i don't believe he punishes or rewards people.

  so by the same extention i don't believe any spirit beings can communicate with or influence humans.. many who do not believe in god though, have gone to fortune tellers.

  I believe, as did Jesus, that the Pharisees (apostate ruling religious clergy class) are sons of the Devil who channel his evil influence and ideas as evidenced by the relentless and pervasive dysfunction in fundamentalist and sectarian groups like the Watchtower.

  On that basis every single one of us has heard the voice of the Devil, and spoken to him, albeit unknowingly.

  Now that the spiritual father of the Watchtower has been outed for me, it would make my stomach churn, to sit passively through one of his 2-hour propaganda sessions.

  In the end you are always wrong no matter how right you are, and they are always right no matter how wrong they are.

  Classic arrogant apostate ruling religious clergy class who raise themselves above a supposed laity class.

  (Proverbs 17:15) . . .Anyone pronouncing the wicked one righteous and anyone pronouncing the righteous one wicked—even both of them are something detestable to Jehovah.

  A JW (Religious Objector) in military detention had an "experience" when he was moved from the camp and locked in a cell.

  Before the experience you'd be hard pressed to find Bible related material amidst the chaos on his bed.

  Afterwards you could not find anything else but.

  He always refused to say anything at all about the incident.

  I believe all humans are mediums or channels or messengers between realms.

  It does not take much for a spiritually awakened person to discern whether the powers of light or darkness are being channelled, even when deception and cloaking are involved.

  And yes I've had experiences I would definitely describe as supernatural if viewed within and from a primitive 3D only perspective.

  Our JW past is not inescapable.

  I was RBNS for around 40 years, and now SBNR for around 10.

  Complete opposites.

  Like a sex-change.

  Almost all Watchtower thinking and identity cleaned out.

  How do BACs and JWs explain animals that practice "homosexual" activities?

  i absolutely love watching the animal channel and just observing the animal kingdom has really brought up some serious questions for any devout anti-gay religions such as born-again christians(bacs) and jws.

  some animals such as deers practice lesbianism when there is no male deer around.

  i almost fell out of my chair when watching this.

  Change for the better is a process, not an event.

  Good help can go a long way.

  Many good Psychologists (including some who have escaped and healed from cults).

  One in a million good Psychiatrists (like Peter Breggin).

  What about compartmentalising your life, in a healthy way, and only talking JW and cult with those like us here who genuinely have a reason to understand and be interested?

  She is definitely the one that needs to change.

  It is not your job or anyone's to change another person, but maybe rather to invite them to develop a more full and rich perspective on life, with the view to growth.

  Maybe she needs to research the answers to some questions so that she can form views that are her own for the first time in her life?

  Why do JWs call themselves "publishers of the Good News"?

  How long have you been a "publisher of the Good News"?

  Do you love "the truth of the Good News"?

  How many times does the NWT refer to "Good News"? (152)

  How many of these are by Paul? (85)

  How do you explain being unfamiliar with the "Good News" according to Paul?

  BTW, she can't be allowed to indefinitely detract from your happiness, health and peace, or to indefinitely remain ignorant.
