Well, it will only hurt the "sister" if she talks about the conversation she had with a DA'd person. But, if it were me, I wouldn't feel obligated to tell her any of my personal business. Only meet with her if you really want to,because it would be different if you were actually close to her when you were a Witness.

Oh, I was bullied all through school. Sometimes, I think the girls are worse than the boys. They don't pick physical fights with you, but, little by little, they pick apart your self-esteem. I'm so glad I'm out of school. And I feel bad for kids who are bullied. If I had to go to work everyday and have someone make a rude comment about my appearance or push me around, I would start looking for another job. But, kids still have to go to school.
And as far as growing up a Witness in school. I was picked on for that too. Some mean girls saw me out in service. Monday, back at school was fun. And it's worse, when you had another weird Witness in your class whose mother was unbalanced. One time she wrote a note to have me and her son excused from a class. She wasn't my mother. She wouldn't let her son participate in some things that even as a Witness he could. And since, I participated, this led to a lot of confusion. Well, more bad memories are coming back, ugh.

Yes, my convention is a couple hours away, but I always preferred driving back and forth. We'd skip one day and make it up another week. But, just the thought of putting out money to stay in a hotel and all the packing, and having to buy meals out. How do Witness families do it, year after year? And all this preparation and it was all so tiring,it's hard to stay awake during the program. The seating is so uncomfortable and if you stand up in the back to stretch your legs, the attendants come by with their signs please be seated. I would walk around though during the program. I acted like I had somewhere to go, or like I was lost or something. And intermission was so boring. I had to hang out with myself. Well, just thinking about it, is making me sick.

Oh, does the favorite drink have to be an alcoholic beverage, in that case, red wine.

I don't know the percentages. I can only say what I have seen locally. The ones that have been reinstated in the last few years have progressed to become pioneers and MS. And they seem sincere, and I think they never have forgiven themselves really. But, I do know a couple of people that just got reinstated to fade out again. Well, I'm not a mind reader. So, I really can't say. My PO was disfellowshipped years ago, but he came back and has been an elder for years. But, then, I know others who come back and get disfellowshipped again.

I'm not going this year, but it won't be the first time I missed. I never really cared for conventions. The only times I looked forward to the convention was if there was a cute brother I was looking forward to flirting with. But, I made up my mind, I can't handle it this year.

Why can't the WTS handle the truth on why people really leave the organization?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inwhat do you think are the reasons why the wts can't handle the truth on why members quit?
why must they disfellowship everyone who would say something like this to an elder on why he/she no longer wishes to be a member......................................................................................................... '' i do not want to be a member any longer because of the changing ''generation'' teaching, the wts is just a publishing and real estate corporation, the preaching work is just a means to distribute books and magazines, the baptism and disfellowshipping of teenagers is wrong, the meetings are boring, the meetings are repetative, the 144,000 is symbolic not literal ...etc.....etc.....

Only in Watchtower land is independent thinking a serious crime.
