so as i'm here browsing jwn while in bed, i hear the door knock at my apartment door!.
i was thinking it was my co-worker who lives opposite of me because i have no family nor friends where i'm currently living (job relocation for 3 months).
one a couple of occasions, persons have knocked, but they realize they're at the wrong door.. so i was in my speedos and opened the door and i see two sisters at the door!!!.
busy morning......
this urban legend/anecdote was on the facebook page of a jw who is a facebook friend of mine.
it's kind of long but tell us what you think....it was all i could do to stop myself from making a snarky comment.
a young couple very much wanted to have a family, but his wife could not conceive, so they decided to adopt a baby.
yeah - that one has been around the block more than once. it may have some basis in reality, but is "photoshopped" to make it cause gasps of delight and amazement among the non-thinkers. and again - for every blessed event such as this story implies - how many heartfelt pleas went down the river to the great sea of no return..........

i can't believe the prices of concert tickets these days.
the rolling stones is starting their tour this year in los angeles tonight and some of the floor tickets are as high as $600!!!
they were in little rock back around 2005 or 2006 and the most expensive ticket back then for their show was $300.
i was never that into the stones anyway - and mick is god-awful ugly!
but $600 - that's a really great pair of shoes or two pair, if on sale.......
and just think of all the kfc outlaw could get! he'd be crowing at dawn!
2 broke girls is the worst show on tv.
the acting is terrible.. what show do you avoid??.

and to add......i do enjoy the food network, but have to cringe at the sight and sound of paula dean and that dude that does the sweet thing....and i do enjoy guy fieri, but some of the hodge podges they show leave me at barf's door.

kardashians.....who really gives a blank?
real housewives of wherever.....bunch of rude crude self-absorbed b!tches
in the past....."everyone loves raymond".....well trust me not everyone did. some of us found him completely disgusting, abominable, stupid, idiotic and annoying. same with that tim guy that played some idiot doing jobs around his stupid house. ANNOYING!!!!!!!
and just to add in a special pet peeve - aniston on friends was completely corny and idiotic and she's ugly too.

billy - you hit the nail on the head.
i was just doing dishes not really thinking about anything in particular, and all of a sudden this experience came flooding back and i started crying.. a few years ago i went back to one of the states i lived in to see/visit my friends (before i learned ttatt, i was still a happy borg at this time).. the friends i were staying with had two young girls, one was 3rd grade and the other was preschool.
so one day the father comes home after picking up the older girl (i think she was 7, 8...i'm not sure exactly this was several years ago) and she was all red and looked like she had been crying.
i noticed she had some blue at the corner of her mouth.
i have no use for people who are mean to their own children. they don't deserve the privilege of having had them in the first place.
