  i do like the usa but winters suck!

  florida has some charm but it gets brutal with heat and humidity.

  california is too looney.

  Amalfi coast Italy.....but I'd need to learn the language and have the money for a villa. But I want a yacht....and go from the Caribbean to Maine seasonally...and have the villa in the tropical island and an old stately coastal mansion up in Maine.....

  Or perhaps the Greek islands....they are exquisite.

  Nowhere near a tectonic fault...and the downside of the Caribbean is hurricane potential. For earthquake issues California and Chile are out. Atlantic coast....midway is good .....short mild winters.... And the cost of living is the basic issue.....so until I come into my billions I'll be staying put.

  the governing body has lovingly provided instructions and reminders to couples that they should pray before having sex.

  please be obedient and follow the wise counsel from the gb leaders who never stick their noses into other peoples business and are not creepy cult leaders at all....not!.

  "had he not created the first human pair so that they could cohabit, planted in them an attraction for each other and then commanded them to "be fruitful and become many"?

  Sad...just endeavor to be her rock of normalcy. No arguments...no trying to reason or convince...just be stable and normal. Involve her in interesting relaxing activities......your love can conquer the crazy.

  Okay people...give the poor kid a break. She's got her moment in the sun. She comes across as kinda nutty, yes...she's lacking charisma and good looks...but she has a passion for a cause and it's not harming or damaging anything. In fact in a perverse way she is making the public aware of ecological concerns. The first time I saw her on the media my impression was that she was quite odd. Subsequently so much negative feedback...but she is a kid with a voice and she has the means to use it. Just appreciate she is using it for a good cause ultimately.

  A Veblen good?

  please forgive me and do not castigate me for overthinking this.. there is a marketing "law" named veblen good (goods, effect) which says that if you make something very expensive, that will make it more desirable.

  i know that sounds counter intuitive but think of the dyson fan, ferrari car, expensive perfume, and so on.

  put the price really high and people will clamour for it.

  Depends on the person and his/her value system. A lot of people love cheap. They think they are being financially smart not spending the $$$ but they end up spending more in the long run because cheap doesn't last. Loving expensive just because flaunting it puts you in a self perceived higher eschalon is stupid if you can't afford it. They key is getting the most bang for your back....the best quality and product longevity for the lowest price. Planned obsolescence is making that increasingly difficult.

  well these goof balls at jwbroadcast apparently think the study of pure science means not having any "practical application".

  oi vey.

  sanderson may speak russian but he is so ill educated he appears to think that researching a subject and formulating a theory about it means that's the end of it - in other words he's saying it has no practical use.

  Ayiyiy....I cannot watch these videos...bad for my health and well-being....but from the comments here I am appalled. Everything in existence is dependent on science and mathematics. Are they really that moronic? The study of the sciences is magnificent...the universe....chemicals, energy.....

  jehovahs witness yearbook, 1967 p.105: cameroon"on one occasion a large crowd was following a man who had a talking serpent.

  the serpent gave greetings and spoke in foreign tongues....a brother was passing by, attracted by the commotion, he went to the house to see what was happening.

  as soon as he entered the room the serpent stopped talking.

  The girl has a passion for caring for and saving the planet. She has attained a platform and is utilizing it. Autism tends to cause an individual to have intense focus ....you see that in her. She is obviously highly intelligent and dedicated to her cause. The publicity she has gained increases awareness of the need for industrialized, commercialized nations to assess their exploitation of natural resources. That is a good thing. Perhaps more attention should be given to the message rather than to the messenger.

  i can ,the people i had influence over in joining the religion.,but have now left the religion.granted it`s family,except for one.. those that were active jw`s and have now left :.

  I no longer live in fear.

  I got my college education and a degree..and 3.95 gpa...this have me confidence in myself and did wonders for my self-esteem.

  I feel like a real member of society. I can voice my political views, vote and stand up for my true beliefs.

  I can dress as I choose, be kind and compassionate to all...and I can even enjoy Christmas decorations, gifts, festivities.

  I can choose my friends and enhance positive relationships and I can dismiss toxic ones.

  I can go where ever I want and do whatever I want when ever I want.
