Oh, I just rediscovered the Addams Family and watched some with the kids! That show is still awesome, and the kids love it.

i never was a big fan of the show, probably because it was on a meeting night, but it was a very popular show.. i loved hill street blues, taxi, all in the family, the rifleman, even superman!
i wished those shows never stopped!.

Typical JW Response
by Magwitch inmy 76 year old mother and her 94 year old mother (my grandmother) are still regular pioneering.
if anyone should understand helping the less fortunate it should be these life time pioneers.
however, this is a conversation i had with my them yesterday.... me: mom, the girls (my 2 teenage daughters) and i have volunteered to serve breakfast and lunch at the soup kitchen new year's eve.

You can't count your time doing that, you know!
Honestly, I admire what you are doing. My 9-year old recently volunteered at the Humane Society, keeping the cats company for a few hours here and there. It is good.

Then What?
by tjlibre inafter knowing what i now know about the wt and the gb.
now that i can see the real spirit behind this organization, now that i have convinced my self that i dont need this religion or any other organized group to have a personal relationship with god and his son... i wonder, whats next?
should i stay as part of the conscious class, a less committed jw for the sake of my marriage and emotional stability?

Do not stop learning and growing as an individual. Allow your conscience and thinking abilities time to flourish outside of the JW mindset for a while. Be patient, and be very very deliberate.
