The WT lies, to cover the lies in the bible. Well anybody who believes in the bible lies to themselves just to believe in it. I use to lie to myself and think that God could do anything he wanted. Thats the biggest lie that makes you believe all the other lies. And that is called "the truth", and we are called liers.

Who do you pray when you feel the need to pray if you dont believe in God?

sometimes when we face difficult situations i feel the need to pray to god for help, and i know that plenty of times the sole act of praying makes you feel hope and have a better outcome of the situation.

you can call it suggestive or that you prepare a positive scenario by using faith.

the outcome is that regardless if there is someone who listens or not to your prayers oftentimes you feel better afterwards and have more positive attitude.. the problem is that i dont believe in god anymore.

yesterday as i was walking at the getty museum was smelling the garlic plants in the garden and made me wonder.

if we are a product of evolution and the survival of the fittest, why do we depend on a wide variety of plants to survive?

So in a way we are here because of the plants. If the plants wouldnt exist with all their nutrients we wouldnt be who we are.

Interesting uh? But the plants do not need us in this system.

Yesterday as I was walking at the Getty Museum was smelling the garlic plants in the Garden and made me wonder. If we are a product of evolution and the survival of the fittest, why do we depend on a wide variety of plants to survive? We need vitamins and minerals and all those products are found in the plants, fruits, vegetables, etc. So if we are just evolving why do we need of specific nutrients. It seems as if we didnt evolve alone as if we are connected to the earth in itself.

I am having a hard time presenting my question, so I apologize for it. My point is, If we evolved, then the plants also evolved. How come the plants have things we need. It is as if the plants were designed for us, otherwise why do they have the exact nutrients that we need to survive. What theory says that the things that evolve also will provide food for others? Arent we evolving independently? unless we are somehow also connected to the earth.

Thank you all for your comments. Since I no longer believe the bible to be inspired I am wondering then what evidence do we have that Jesus of Nazareth existed, who was he really and where did he come from?

PSacramento: I Used to believe. But I dont anymore. When I found out that I was lied to by the WT I wondered who else lied. So I discover that the origin of the bible is a lie as well. Lies everywhere. Those who believe, will continue to believe if they only care to believe what the believe, and those that dont might change their minds as well. Some just want to believe, and some of us just want to know.

One thing is for sure "A" message is still with us, but whose message it is? And we also have the message of Budha and Mohammed. What I want to know is who was that person who gave that message. Regarding Jesus I am not even quite sure he gave that message.

It would be great to study it first with a JW and then show proof , paragraph by paragraph and quoting their ow publications on how the JW are doing the exactly the same.

Can anyone or has anyone with good access to a WT library do that? disprove their claims using references item by item? that would be great.

i am still a member of the jw's organization.

i have been puzzled over some of the teachings for many years but as i seemed to be the only one querying things among my local jw's i felt as if i was going crazy.

i was very relieved to find this site, a few months ago, full of evidence to back up my findings, and so much more.. i am so grateful to you all.. i do not want to leave the organization until i have planted some seeds in my family to open their eyes.

i have expressed in this forum that sometimes im confused as to what will be my ultimate decision.

at this point in my life there is too much at stake.

first, my own emotional estate, ill hate to bitterly regret the years expend taking unnecessary emotional abuse and theocratic bulling.

Thanks for the story. I can understand your position. Being inside is gonna be hard. You could consider yourself like a spy in a foreign country. You can have the power to help many people. Just dont forget that they are mind controlled. you can not take anyone out. You can only enable them to think. That you can do. Ask questions and let them think by themselves.

Regarding your wife. It shows that you love her. She has to be certain of that. Remind her that you love her because of her and not because she is JW. In the same token she must love you because of you and not because you are a JW. Otherwise she will loving the a false image of you. She will be loving the JW of you but you are not that anymore therefore she is not really loving you if thats the case. Strengthen your love based on each other not on the JW not even on the bible. What if she turns muslim? would you still love her? Ask her questions about that... what if I wasnt an elder... would you still love me? what if I wasnt a publisher would you still love me? what If I wasnt a JW? would you still love me? what I didnt believe in God? what if , what if..... questions are powerful

Also seems you are doing a great job in the congo. But are the JWs getting closer to God or the the WT? Remmember all the good work you do goes to waste once you are out. Are they seeing that good work as coming from you from God or the WT? They have to know it is coming from you. Not from the WT. Not even from God because God=WT. Like Paul said... this I say it myself and no God.
