from wikipedia:
Aretalogy is a form of sacred biography where a deity's attributes are listed, in the form of poem or text, in the first person.
Often each line starts with the standard "I am …". Usually, aretalogies are self praising. They are found in the sacred texts of later Egypt, Mesopotamia and in Greco-Roman times. Aretalogies of Isis would be recited everyday by an Aretologist who would have to memorise a huge list of attributes which he/she would have to recite.(Priests and priestesses of Isis had equal rank in the temple.) The aretalogies of ancient Egypt provide some the most complete information extant about their deities. [ 1 ] Aretalogies are found as early as the Coffin Texts. In aPtolemeic aretalogy, Aset (Isis) says about herself:
Isis was a goddess in Ancient Egyptian religious beliefs, whose worship spread throughout the Greco-Roman world. She was worshipped as the ideal mother and wife as well as the matron of nature and magic. She was the friend of slaves, sinners, artisans, the downtrodden, as well as listening to the prayers of the wealthy, maidens, aristocrats and rulers. [ 1 ] Isis is the Goddess of motherhood, magic and fertility.
The goddess Isis (the mother of Horus) was the first daughter of Geb, god of the Earth, and Nut, the goddess of the Overarching Sky, and was born on the fourth intercalary day. At some time Isis and Hathor had the same headdress. In later myths about Isis, she had a brother, Osiris, who became her husband, and she then was said to have conceived Horus. Isis was instrumental in the resurrection of Osiris when he was murdered by Set. Her magical skills restored his body to life after she gathered the body parts that had been strewn about the earth by Set. [ 2 ] This myth became very important in later Egyptian religious beliefs.

Well a God existed then he only needs to show it, no hints, no codes, no prophesy, no dreams, no confusion, no interpretation. He wants to send a message then an intelligent God would send an easy to understand message or proof of his existence and would leave verifiable proof of his miracle so ALL his creations would see it and therefore have no doubt. Why make it obscure or hidden... if he knows that some wouldnt believe otherwise? If that is the case this God had not enough "vision" of his own creation and didnt calculated properly to ensure that all of us knew he was alive and we could do his will.
So if we have the "disease" of not-believing-in-deity is because he didnt provide with the medicine, therefore his own fault. Faulty God = not a very good God.
The miracle would have to be something undeniable that would make us see and understand his existence and his violations of soo many of his own laws. Thats a pretty tough Job
Just a thought.
a philosophical ending.. in the end, real life doesn't have happy endings for the happy.
it's even better, because its real.
you are real.

Qigong? That sounds interesting. Black Magic, Voodoo, Witchcraft, JWs... yeah pretty similar :-) But I think JWs are worst
take this brief proclaimer's book quiz concerning the society's views on homosexuality.. first, remember when the proclaimer's book was released:.
released at 1993s summer divine teaching district convention.
in contrast to "many churches" who debate the question of whether homosexuality should be viewed as sinful, .
there was never any question as to how homosexuality would be viewed
It was not viewed as grounds for divorce on January of 72 and then it was viewed as grounds of divorce on December.
i love this forum.
i find the discussions and analysis incredible.
i think the humour in some of the threads is amazing.
i agree. have fun with the book...or suffer with the book.

Thanks guys. Typing and reading you does help!
i see two compelling reasons right off the bat:.
1. financial - this one is a bit counterintuitive, as we all know the wtb$ is loaded.
but if we could see real preaching stats by territory, i bet my ass that the most return visits are in the western/developed countries.
I think It will take a couple of hundred years but religion or at least the cults will fade as education becomes more available
