I love to travel on boats, I love the sea, I love to swim and plunge, I love fish-watching, I love to walk on the seaside, I love to look at the sea in summer and in winter.

I miss the sea, since I leave far from it. That's a pity!!!!

hey, im bohms girlfriend.. i have been arguing alot with bohm himself about the huge amount of time he spends in here:-) now i've decidet to look it out my self.. about me: i have growen up in the socalled "truth".

i was baptised when i was 18 - because of an earlier boyfriend, who wouldnt be with me when i was not.

now i really hate him for it... it would have been so much easier if ive never got baptised.

Warm welcome to you! Sad to say: freedom has a price, and you will not be able to live the JW without paying a price!

You should probably, open your heart to your parents, explaining your reasons to live the org, and ask them if they will continue to love you despite the org. You are now out of home, so your father will not loose his position as an elder!

By the way, if the elders of this new cong succeed in talking to you, tell them you are depressed and have first to take care of your health!

i am disfellowshipped and i have two girls who live with their dad.

all of them are witnesses.

Welcome to you darnkid! I'm so sorry for you, being without the support of family of friends! I can imagine how sad must be. living without your children. Show them love, tell them you love them, show them your interest for them....love has so much strenght!!!

The homeless sister and the $60,000 RV

i was in a congregation once which had a large number of desperately poor people in it.

there was an elderly sister, she lived near me, a sweet woman, who became homeless because her ramshackled old house caught fire.

around that same time one of the overseers (imagine that using a slavery term), i forget if it was district or circuit overseer, came to town wanting a new rv/truck combo.

Simply disgusting! And still they have the ¨boldness to write on the magazines (in the 'purpose' section) that they are a CHARITY society!!!!! Shame on them!

A few years ago, during summer, when starting to fade, my husband let grew a beard style goatee (look at the link)

but only during a few weeks. Now that we are free of the 'diktat' of the org, I suggested him to let it grow again. Wow, he looks like a 'professor' with his white beard! The few people who knows him are surprised, but most of them like it. Me too!

I spoke to Ray Franz for the first time today

i have been feeling very blue and hopeless lately.

i miss my family and needed some affirmation that i am right in my characterization of the jws.

i called ray to hear it from the someone in the know, as to what really goes on in the gb meetings and if they really believe what they say.

I'm glad for you Recovering. I can appreciate Ray's personality from the love and empathy he trasmits through his books. He did a great work in writing the facts. Though the Watchtower has tried to soil his image and reputation, he has now a far better and solid reputation all over the world between people who benefit of his books.

I also can understand your feelings, because one of my daughters and a nephew (JW) were victim of sexual abuses (by a non JW). We have also passed through very sad and hard periods, fighting deep depression and suicide thoughts of my daughter...during years.

She has been through lots of therapists during years and now after almost ten years (since she reminds the facts), she seems well, she feels like having the command of her emotions and life. Not the same for my nephew, who didn't go through therapy....parents (JW) didn't even encourage him to, "well time will help, you will forget, try to think posistive and bla bla bla...", result: he feel attraction for men and though he left the congregations years ago, he is now asked to dissociate, with all the family shunning him! So sad....

Hope you may build a good and satisfactory life for yourself and found a mate who will undestand you and be of real help!

she just can't get enough of it but i don't give her so much because of the salt.

i haven't given her shrimps yet but i've heard cat's love that.. what's your cats favourite?.

I don't have cats. It is a responsibility I cannot charge to someone else if we have to travel (frequently).

But in my garden I receive the visit of...even 7cats (5...kids) savage, wild cats who live in the neighbourhoud. Impossible to touch them, but little by little they are approaching when I offer them some discard (rest???) of meat or fish, but I have to leave the dish and go a few steps away....

They are lovable,,, it's a pity not being able to pet them.

ok, i dont know who is a secretary on this site, so i will post it just here.... apostate: albert einstein, month: october 2009. studies: 2 (son and wife) son (7 years) is making great progress, recently he came to me with a question: "daddy are jw a cult?

" yesterday he came to me with a question: "daddy, so there will be no armageddon?

" i told him: "sonny, you can be 100% sure if there is loving god above us, he will never be throwing burning stones on people as it is pictured in mummies wt... (he was really relieved).

I personally don't mind if cross will be left or not in the italian schools.....but why people would like to start a conflict?

If the court states that the cross could be offensive to non christians because it is s symbol of christanity,(though the christians are at home there), we have to start to prohibit (forbide) the tchador and the islamic veil in the schools since it is a symbol of islamism ...this is par condicio = parity of treatment!

and here...the conflict starts....

though alone, i decided long ago that i would not go the fast or packaged food route.

Hi Babayaga, I also love gardening and plant in my vegetable gardens, at the moment, at he doors of winter, withe temperature not far from freezing point I still have lettuce: various sorts, spinach, chicory, parsley, basil and sage which I use a lot in teh kitchen. All other vegetables like tomatos, zucchini, curly endives, and so on when there is an overproduction I keep them in the freezer for use during winter.

LouBelle..I agree with you: extra virgin olive oil - cold pressed (is the best)
