Never posted on H2O, but reading rants by Farkel, AlanF, Kent, Norm, and others sure helped with the confusion I found myself in. It was also a treat to speak to Alan by phone. Just to hear the voice of a kind person and not some imagined devil made a differance.

"Out of One, Many"
by Farkel infor you apostate warriers, old and new, take this to heart.
if you are like me, you get discouraged from time to time what with all the noise and fluff floating around.
i can't count the number of times i've asked myself "is this worth the effort?".

If Adam did not sin, would humans have lived forever on earth?
by jwfacts inthe new testament talks consistently of a heavenly hope, not an earthly one and the idea that humans are to live forever on earth is not supported scripturally at all.. however, what would have happened if adam and eve had not sinned.
the watchtower likes to make the point that it is only sin that caused adam and eve to die.
romans 5:12 that is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned.. what do christians believe regarding this scripture?

Jesus was a perfect man and yet HE DIED! That is the amazing thing JWs don't seem to get. Ask them if when they make it to their New System and they fall out of a tall tree, or off that mountain in all their pictures, would they die. They're stumped.

Last meeting was August 27, 2000.
Funny, I know that day better now than my baptism day February 11, 1995.

George Noory (Coast to Coast AM) has people on his radio show all the time talking about Chemtrails. I admit it is odd seeing a crossing pattern in the sky over SE Kansas in the middle of nowhere.
Has anyone ever seen a nearly square cloud before? I have.

When did they start the Ministerial Training School? Where do they have it? Why only single men? Hell, Circuit and District Overseers have the freedom to be married. Why can't these dudes?

How many JW's are leaving the the org each year - is the figure rising?
by Must obey! ini think i've seen clever posters work out how many leave the organisation each year, or at least stop being 'publishers'.
how many have been leaving each year since 2000?
is the number increasing?.

There is reason to believe Watchtower is about 6 to 8 years from having a significant exodus. The aftermath of nothing happening between now and 2014 will open the eyes of any with doubts.

The real story: Is your congregation stagnant, dwindling or thriving?
by truthseeker inwith the 2007 service year stats out one could be forgiven for thinking that wt's problems are over, the child abuse settlement an itch in their bethel backside and the blood issue a minor annoyance.. if the truth were known, it is probably that more often than not, congregations are in decline, attendance is poor and few new recruits are not already jw family members.. so, if you know how your congregation is doing, if you have the pulse of your hall, let us know.. .
my congregation (which shall remain nameless).
dwindling attendance at all meetings (around 80%).

Until about a year ago, the local congregation had a half empty parking lot. Then in just the last couple of months, I've noticed the parking lot has been full each Sunday. There must have been a deleted congregation and merged with the local one. There is no way that old congegation grew that fast. As far as knowing for sure, I have not been inside the building in about 7 years.
