We've got a senegal parrot that loves to rip up cardboard, paper, and wooden bird ladders. She gets a new one every christmas and by the end of the year, the ladder is sawdust.
Aren't birds fun?

Set aside your political brainwashing, and read this.......................

Warlock, thanks for posting this.
Economic growth, especially over the last seven years, has been based almost exclusively on expanding credit or inflation. As money became easier and real interest rates even became negative, people went on a spending spree. Now that credit is contracting (deflation), we are seeing that the party wasn’t about productivity or technology, but about being able to borrow money and spend it. I can’t overstate this: today we have more debt in the system by any measure than at any time in history.
Many people have just now come to this conclusion. Where were these people before? Why didn’t all the money managers, financial advisors, market pundits, and treasury secretaries with all their professed experience warn us of this before now? Many that were doing just that were fired or drowned out for having such drastic opinions. What we had left were merely cheerleaders and profiteers. But even cheerleaders eventually have to admit they are losing the game. The problem now seems to be that the coaches on the field still refuse to cut their losses and admit defeat: save your resources for the next game. Many of the answers to these questions can be had here...
Simply put, this whole economic thing is part of a bigger picture. None of this is a coincidence once you put the pieces together. I was arguing this very thing as much as two years ago on this board with the likes of Zeroday and so on, but few wanted to believe me then.
Isn't it amazing that the US govt. doesn't count fuel and food in its inflation index? Isn't it amazing when the US govt. says the national debt is 9 trillion, when it fact it is probably as much as 53 trillion in debt?

Goodbye Dollar and Hello Amero
Jimmy Carter got the ball rolling on the Amero during his administration and look for it sometime around 2012.
Look for it folks, this is just getting started.
I can't stress this enough, just like there was more to the JWs than what we saw early on, the same is true with the world governments. We're only getting half of the story, just the half they want us to know.

Any Fans of The Doors?
by XJW4EVR ini will admit that i am not a big fan of much of the music that came out of the counterculture.
however, i am a huge fan of the doors.
i find their music to be so far above the other music of that time.

The Doors music is great. Coast To Coast AM had Ray Manzarek (Keyboards) and Robby Krieger (Guitar) on last Thursday night for 3 hours talking about Jim Morrison. They'll be having a free streamlink weekend coming up soon so the show can be downloaded.

I have considered taking my wife to the memorial, just to show her how lame the most happy JW event is. She was never a JW, and she still doesn't fully understand how it was for us.
But to go back because I dicovered I was wrong, I'm not wrong, so I'm not going back.

Looks like Outlaw's "Stuff-A-Dub" is really catching on.
"Stuff-A-Dub" is when a JW dies and is stuffed. They're placed on park benches and street corners holding Watchtower and Awake magazines. "Stuff-A-Dubb" is a registered trademark.

Kingdumb Discomfort
by WTWizard ini have noticed that most kingdumb hells have had numerous comfort problems.
one of the most consistent is that they are extremely dry at this time of year.
i can remember when i had chapped hands, that it is always worse after sitting there for 2 hours.

I don't know much about those positive ions, but a Kingdom Hall with no outside air circulation is always going to have stale air in it. My old Hall had mold problems and finally about 20 years after it was built they replaced the heat and air conditioner which included the ability to pump in fresh air.
And yes, those seats suck! They're not made for two hours of setting. What's worse, although nothing was said, it was an looked down upon to bring in a cushion.
