For those who pray, I have a unique request. Please pray for the end of the rain in Kansas. The wheat harvest time is now and what is already a bad crop could become much worse! Back in April there was a late and bad freeze which greatly damaged the wheat crop. And now what's left is being threatened by day after day by rain.

Please pray that the rain stops here in Kansas and moves on to Kentucky where there is a drought.

Please post to this thread so many will see it...

(I am not a farmer, just concerned about our ability to feed the world.)

DID YOU DEDICATE YOURSELF BEFORE BAPTISM OR DID YOU LIE?

i was just wondering when you where going through the questions for baptism did you know you had to dedicate yourself to jehovah before hand or did you lie?.

i didn't know i had to so when i went through the questions i had to lie and say i had.

i always felt bad about it afterwards and quickly did a little prayer that night.

I was very sincere when I wanted to be baptized. I must have said in prayer to Jehovah repeatedly how I wanted to serve him with all my heart. In reality, I was just afraid of the Watchtower version of Armageddon and really didn't dedicate myself to anything more than free labor and wasting my time.

the jw lady i work with went to summer convention last week and the following days were pure sheeeeite.

all week i could hear her a row over trying to fill everyone with her crazy spirit.

i could not find my mp# until thursday and by then i was totally pissed off.

the question box in july deals with the internet - mainly concerned with children on myspace & similar sites -mentioning that your child could be talking to paedophiles , dfd ones or even "active apostates" .

the main article deals with the - "exciting" and "thrilling" news of the new wt arrangement (maybe some people should get out more).

nothing new in the article , which has as the sole justification the need no longer to explain "theocratic" terms like "pioneer" , but it does seem that the awake will be tailored more to non-christian people.

# 1. The bible states that no one can go to the father(jehovah) except through jesus christ.
# 2. Jesus christ and jehovah created the faithful slave arrangement.
#3. Therefore no one can go to jesus christ and jehovah, except through the faithful and discreet slave.
Using that 'logic', they then proclaimed that we must be a part of jehovah's oganization, otherwise we have no hope. We have no where else to go.

Using that logic...

According to the JW Bible, Jehovah and Jesus created the animals too. And since animals came before the Faithful and Discreet Slave, wouldn't a Jackass have authority over them?
