Law suits
by flying under the radar injust wondering wether anyone has tried to sue the wbts for emotional suffering,.
loss of income or anything else... and would such a law suit hold up in court?.

If I had millions of dollars to spend, I would sue the Watchtower and its leaders for human rights violations. It would go up to the supreme court and I think I would win. But, I have no money.

by AndersonsInfo inposted on www.christianwitnesses.com.
the federal public ministry at ceara, brazil, on july 14, 2011 filed a civil action against the religion of jehovah's witnesses in the 8th federal court for practicing religious discrimination against former members.
prosecutor nilce cunha rodrigues has taken on official representation of sebastian oliveira (ramos) who, after being expelled from the religion was discriminated against by colleagues, friends and relatives, including his mother, in accord with norms of the jehovahs witnesses who are headed by a governing body of the watchtower society.

Jehovah's Witnesses are not a CULT ...
by Fatfreek inaccording to 30% of the following definitions.
that leaves 70% that show quite the opposite.
so -- are they a cult?
-
yalbmert99
There are many definitions of what is a cult. However, there is a clear definition of what is a cultic deviance :
"The cultic deviance is characterized by the implementation of various techniques of pressure having for goal or effect to create, maintain or exploit at a person's state of a psychological or physical subjection. "
