Do You Use Floride?
by sammielee24 ini'm a believe in non-floridation because i believe that the introduction of toxins into our bodies does nothing but harm us in the long run.
fluoride has shown up in the blood of newborn babies and given that it affects the neurological systems, and given the fact that parents are warned not to mix formula with tap water in some areas or allow children under the age of 6 to use fluoridated toothpaste, you have to wonder who is making all the money on the product.
i watched a report on this just the other day where a dentist was saying that cavities are down in the popuation but what she didn't point out was all the casualities showing up now with tooth enaml wore off, tooth discolouration, bone loss and some cancer links.

Gulf Oil Spill More Than 10X Greater Than Thought: Experts
by leavingwt inthe news from the gulf just keeps getting worse.
gulf oil spill more than 10x greater than thought: expertsby frank james and allison richards.
npr has learned that much more oil, 70,000 barrels a day or more than ten times the official estimate, is gushing into the gulf of mexico from the deepwater horizon pipe, based on scientific analysis of the video released wednesday.. that's the equivalent of one exxon valdez tanker full every four days.

Oil Closes in On Fla. As BP Tries Risky Cap Move
Wednesday, 02 Jun 2010 07:02 AM
"As submersible robots made another risky attempt to control the underwater Gulf oil gusher, the crude on the surface spread, closing in on Florida. BP's stock plummeted and took much of the market down with it, and the federal government announced criminal and civil investigations into the spill. The stakes couldn't be higher. After six weeks of failures to block the well or divert the oil, the latest mission involved using a set of tools akin to an oversized deli slicer and garden shears to break away the broken riser pipe so engineers can then position a cap over the well's opening. But it's a big gamble: Even if it succeeds, it will temporarily increase the flow of an already massive leak by 20 percent — at least 100,000 gallons more a day. That's on top of the estimated 500,000 to 1 million gallons gushing out already........"http://www.newsmax.com/US/US-Gulf-Oil-Spill/2010/06/02/id/360759?s=al&promo_code=9FFB-1

Why the fluoridation of public water supplies is illegal
(NaturalNews) "Municipalities all across America are currently dripping fluoride chemicals into their public water supply, dosing over a hundred million Americans with a chemical that they claim "prevents cavities."
What's interesting here is that this biological effect of "preventing cavities" is a medical claim, according to the FDA. And as such, making this claim instantly and automatically transforms fluoride into a "drug" under currently FDA regulations.
This means that cities and towns all across America are now practicing medicine without a license by dripping liquid medication into the public water supply without the consent of those who are swallowing the medication.
If you or I did this, we would be arrested and tried as either terrorists (because contaminating the water supply is an act of terrorism) or felons practicing medicine without a license. So what allows cities and towns to get away with these very same crimes?............" -

The WHO at the Super Bowl!
by lepermessiah ini was having a conversation with a younger guy at work - he barely knew who the who was....... he was telling me that he recognized the songs but thought they sounded pretty rough.. i told him that i wish he could have seen them even 10 years ago - i saw them live in 2000 and roger still sounded awesome, and pete was still.....pete!.
the real big loss was losing the ox - john entwistle was so important to that band.
he was amazing live....... moon was a huge loss, but after je passed, i really wish they would have stopped performing live as the who.. here is an awesome taste of him in action.......rip ox............ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvl39lbzgmw.

I used to be an apologist as well, however no more
by gubberningbody init's funny how when you think you've gotten queued up in the paradise line how you'll pooh pooh detractors.. age has a way of sobering you up.. of course the internet was a great help.. if you want to find out what's wrong with anything, all you have to do is select the topic and throw in a pejorative, and bam!, you've got hundreds if not thousands of people who'll give you the other side.. if you've not in a jw family, and you're not a mental troglodyte, i can't see anyone making that koolaid-bath plunge into jw-land..

Weren't we all apologists at one time? You had to be, unless of course you were never in.
And if you were never in you had your own dum thing you made a fool of yourself defending.
Like being a sports fan.
