What laws?

Matthew 5:18"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

Last time I checked, heaven and earth are still here and all obviously has not been fulfilled.

Heb 7:12,18 "For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law.....The former regulation is set aside"

That doesn't make all of God's laws obsolete. It makes salvation possible for those of faith who keep the law that's written in their minds.

Perhaps you can show in Scripture where the apostles and disciples stopped following the Torah.

Matthew 5:19 - "Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

Heb 10:26-27 "If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God."

The law was only a restatement of instructions that had been given in generations past that had been lost due to captivity in Egypt. Those righteous standards have always applied as God does not change. Man was made in his image and likeness, thus knowing right from wrong. When corruption became a total abomination, Yahweh, decreed destruction on Jew and heathen alike. We now are approaching Pentecost that has a number of very significant events attached to it. The Law never went away just because Messiah fulfilled it, except where his blood replaced that of animals. We are still to hallow God's name, and it's not Jehovah or the LORD. And we are to keep HIS Sabbaths and time schedule - because that's what he goes by - not Pope Gregory. As for the rest of the 10, "don't do this that or the other" - there's nothing terribly unique in that virtually all religion teaches morality.

Interesting that virtually all who call themselves Christian and claim to follow the 10 Commandments - seem to ignore the correct pronunciation of his name and Messiah's and his Sabbaths. And those who claim to keep the law(Jews) - reject Messiah.

Who really are JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES......really.....?

jehovah's witnesses don't expect to convert the world.

they expect to educate the world about jehovah's kingdom and his christ.. before: nobody knows about it.. after: everybody knows about it.. how would you measure what people "know"?.

how well informed is the average citizen in 2010 vs 1879, for example?.

I always found it remarkable that while out of the one side of their mouths they preach frugality and no skills

besides window washing and cleaning offices - but out of the other side, if you have a skill - they'll sure use it.

let’s put it this way.....do you think Sodom and Gomorrah would have been wiped out had they been observing the Law?

And another thing, the Law wasn't a covenant. Torah means instruction.

Without law there is no sin because sin is transgression of the law. Without sin there is no need to sacrifice.

Why would the Followers of Jesus be hated?

why would the followers of jesus be hated?.

should we find it strange, that as followers of jesus, we will be hated to the extreme jesus here foretold in these following words?

to the point of being arrested, persecuted, and killed?.

In other words we don't have to trust God and his word or anyone who espouses it.

They are words of life to those who believe, but death to those who do not.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 (NIV)
