  alright, so i am sharing some fun tidbits with my fiance about things i remember as a kid growing up.

  we were trying to remember the woman from the old testament who murdered a king (she went to a christian school so we both got hammered with the bible) and we couldn't.

  inevitably when you're talking about any women from the old testament jezebel comes up.

  would you date this guy???

  about 2 weeks ago i met a guy online, we chatted on the phone one evening and had a good conversation and aranged to go on a date this friday coming.. since then i have heard almost nothing at all from him!

  i think about 2 texts and thats it!

  in one of the texts he hints that he would like to see a picture of me "wearing alot less".

  He may very well be a creep, who knows. However, if displaying a physical interest in you is going to disqualify a guy altogether, you're setting yourself up for a delusional outlook on men/dating. A 'gentleman' will probably think the very same things, but refrain from saying so in order to better his chances.

  Why Do Americans Live Shorter Lives Yet Spend So Much for Health Care ???

  every time i see statistics comparing average lifespans amoung countries, why is the usa so far down the list???.

  with susposedly the best healthcare in the world (for those who can afford it), the last study i saw ranked the usa at number 38 in the world.

  yet, we spend 4, 5 or even 10 times more per person on health care than most others.. what gives ???.

  The premise is flawed and overly simple. We're meant to think that the presence of a busy healthcare system should equal longer lifespans. To me, a bustling, billion dollar healthcare industry indicates the presence of a great deal of disease and poor health. Or perhaps, an exploitive industry.

  a 2000 report by the california epa determined that the average residential leaf blower produces 145 times more hydrocarbons, 7.5 times more carbon monoxide, and 11 times more particulate matter in one hour than a 1999-2000 light duty vehicle driven at 30 mph, getting 15 miles to the gallon.. .

  in summary:.

  using a leaf blower for one hour produces as much pollution as driving an old truck 4,350 miles.

  Elders speaking in a church of Christendom? Am I missing something? There are witnesses out there that avert their eyes when they drive past a church, and now its okay to give a talk in one?

  I need a holiday. wheres good?

  its been a horrible year, cuminating in my sister leaving as well, which was great but brought stress as well.

  this year is going to be so much better, i start teacher training again... :d but i feel like id just like to get away from it all for a week, ive never been away alone or even on a girls holiday.

  anyone else have this issue?
