  Res BandicootThe only really good and suitable woman that the Dem's had was Tulsi Gabbard, but she got sick of the nonsense and quit.

  What a real pity, too. As a woman I'd feel so much prouder if Gabbard had been elected. Harris has been given a lift up for all the wrong reasons her whole life.

  Is that as compared to PRE pandemic/defund the police/BLM riot levels? Or as compared to the more recent 'defund the cops' period levels?

  Ha that puts me in mind of the well known fantasy story written by an exjw - set after "Armageddon". The elders do exactly that! There's also a forced marriage and a suicide. In the end when the narrator becomes aware that worldly people are still alive, he's imprisoned and executed!

  you would have had to qualify as an elder previously.

  this would mean the male would have had to have been an elder in his early 20's.

  WhoaThat's totally the way to encourage the absolutely wrong kind of co, to engender resentment in perhaps very experienced older elders. Being lectured by a man the same age as their grandkids (or younger given the age most JWs marry) & reinforce entirely the wrong behaviour-reward system in the young 😬

  i'm interested to know the age demographics here.

  it must be significantly different to other exjw forums.

  it would be a damning report for watchtower if most of us appear to have left for decades.. you don't have to mention your exact age, you could always say "in my 50s".. i am in my 70s.

  Agreed! But calculators were not expensive in 1976 when this article came out lol! Heck our school got a computer a few short years later in 79 - 80 (I think?)

  I'm sure the real reasoning behind that article was more medical quackery intimating one shouldn't have anything electronic too near your body bits - hint hint! 🍆🍒

  Meth teeth aside, I never noticed he had the Tom Cruise single front tooth thing. Weirrrrrd

  I think he's just got the British slightly crooked teeth thing - one is slightly protruding making it appear he has only one? Usually I find it more attractive than those (weirdly protruding) bright Hollywood teeth (see: David Bowie) but in this case...no!😩

  So funny I actually remember this really well.. Even as a young child I thought this sounded a foolish. I'll admit the grandparents who partly raised me weren't buying it, too. So I did have some sensible influences that allowed me to see at least the absurdities & extremes of the faith.
