  i am non political and have never voted but nonetheless i have been keenly watching to see how the trump presidential race unfolds.

  i believe that his involvement in propelling or influencing a leaning toward bible prophecy will unfold.

  how, i can’t say but something tells me that this anomaly and outlier being trump is highly signifiant!

  This whole billion dollar war chest now 20 million in debt.

  I think they knew from the get-go it was a loosing effort. Their expensive pollsters, pundits etc told them the whole Biden cover up/coup plus crazy inflation sunk them before they started.Grifters filled their pockets with campaign funds & Kamala was their patsy.

  TOH He was more worried with building a presence and gaining attention and becoming a celebrity within the small world of exJW content, and hoping to branch out to researching religion and promoting atheism. All of that can be done, but the content always has to be the first priority, and it's clear that this wasn't the case.

  LMsA He’d be absolutely slaughtered online should he ever attempt to start a political channel or podcast - which has been one of his longstanding goals to pivot out of JW content.

  The problem with Lloyd is that he's completely uneducated - which would be fine if he was self aware enough both to understand his disadvantage & to get himself at least a basic grounding in political science/political theory, constitutionalism, democracy etc plus some wider philosophy/logic/ethics etc.

  He needs to learn to construct decent arguments, rather than virtue signaling the latest buffoonery he's been brainwashed into parroting.

  What are the questionable Grauniad articles? Have you got a link?

  Oh Slim some of its gender woo articles are completely false reporting.

  many people have wondered about the above question and our stand on the forty (40) basic, fundamental truths, and why we make it a requirement for individual jehovah's witnesses to believe these ideas before...before they can join our five (5) discussion boards.well, its called the yorww congregation, isn't it?its a congregation of like believers and persons of like faith.

  (matthew 18:20) so they are supposed to agree on their beliefs, exactly as first century christians agreed upon their beliefs.

  i’m just curious about this dynamic i don’t care personally one way or the other but i do have friends who have chosen to be conservatives and they get totally destroyed on social media pages for their choice.

  it’s almost like a lot of ex jw w become as toxic and his judgmental as jehovah’s witnesses themselves what’s up with that?

  i also know conservative ex jw’s that can do the same so again i’m not leaning one way or the other i’m just noticing factual observations.

  Because quite a large number of the ex JWs (or more accurately raised JWs but not JW as adults) you're.most likely to come across online are usually pretty young. Many are still very influenced by the education system /celebrity culture/liberal media etc. and haven't matured enough to think for themselves or develop their own personal worldview yet.

  Oh my god these people have zero self awareness. Read the room, Watchtower. What do you think the population at large thinks of you when they hear this kind of thing?

  There was a poster on here called Orphan crow who published at lot of interesting stuff about Watchtower cynically targeting indigenous communities in their own dialects/language, because they receive big fat government grants for doing so. They get a win-win - converts & cheques with a big pat on the back from the press, oftentimes.

  But of course we know JW-dom destroys family relations & is particularly bad for close knit, traditional communities & their cultures.

  my only prowess in making predictions stems from my 77-years of life in the united statesgrowing up under president truman, eisenhower, kennedy, nixon, .....etc.

  etc.i was a widdle kid sitting in front of a tiny black and white tv set when the very first broadcastsof political conventions, deal-making, debates (nixon vs kennedy), assassinations (jfk, rfk, martin luther king, etc.

  ) i grew up with duck and cover under my elementary schooldesk, the cold war, the iron curtain, the korean war, the vietnam war and i went to federal prisonas a jw conscientious objector while hippies, flower children, political activists protested and universitystudents were fired up on by troops.i grew up reading newspapers (2 of them).

  TOH. I don't think Biden voters were switching to Trump as much as Biden voters preferred to stay home instead of vote for Harris.

  You might have a point there, since Trump.supporters are trump VOTERS whereas Democrats aren't necessarily going to vote for Harris given her appalling performance.(With the exception of the presidential debate which makes me sure she was given the questions prior to the debate).

  Liam Also want to thank the girls of the View for their stupidity on live TV, that convinced a lot of young Gen Z girls to switch from Harris to Trump.

  🤣🤣Whoever asked Harris on The View what she would do differently to Biden with her promptly saying "I can't think of one thing" you should definitely be thanking, since that probably lost her the election!

  Many of these posts are not so much an expression of a point of view - just poor attempts at conversion imo.
