  Fear of discussing doubts

  when i was having doubts about being a jehovah's witness, i was terrified to talk about them to anyone.

  Watching the World

  when i was a kid in the meetings, bored out my brains, i'd try and read the "watching the world" articles just because they seemed less 'spiritual' than the rest.. then, only now looking back on it, i realise how negative they were.

  Jehovah's Witness Dating Advice

  i remember when i was young reading through the "young people ask" book.

  the wts, being american, prints its english material in american english.

  i know some people might trash me here but for a european i found it frustrating.

  color is supposed to be colour, highway is motorway and a faucet is a bloody tap!

  does anyone have the two creation books (life how did it get here, and is there a creator who cares...) available as pdf's please?

  having a nice discussion via email and i could use an electronic version of the book while trying to show the blatant misquotes and lies etc.

  Changing WT wording

  in the recent thread about 'millions now living may/will never die', purplesofa said that the wts changed wording on watchtowers between magazine and bound volume.

  i'd be interested to see some examples please!

  this could be very useful to help someone i know see they are fallible.

  JWs thinking 'Satan is out to get me!'

  i met a jw who said he hated driving to the kh because satan always changed the traffic lights to red so that he'd be late.

  this is so absurd, showing how paranoid some of them are.

  what similar, equally retarded, reasoning have you come across?
