once he had denied objective reality, his mental conquest was complete and he was no longer truly the master of his own mind.

nineteen eighty-four is in many ways, a very depressing read.. a charge commonly leveled at jehovah's witnesses is that the type of mind control envisioned by orwell has been and continues to be used on them.

Girl scout cookies are demonized

okay so i think it might be the concussion making me go on this rant...not too sure.. the girl scouts started selling their cookies yesterday and for the first time in my life i will be ordering cookies.....i mean wtf is so wrong with ordering cookies from them?

i love the thin mint's and guess what?

you can only buy them from girl scouts!!!!!!.

Read the first page last night, and today I went to Walmart and those evil girlscouts and those stacks of cookies were out front. I went right up and got myself some thin mints and the $7.00 for two boxes was a bargain! Num!

I remember (40+) years ago a couple who made no bones about being registered , They felt that they got notices about (homeowners) property issues etc that they were interested in. They didn't vote (as far as anyone knew) but were on the rolls. They were prominent in the area.

Everlasting life is a free gift. Or is it?

at the meetings i hear from time to time that everlasting life is a free gift from jehovah, but from a jehovahs witness point of view is it really?.

you will not receive the "gift" if:.

you miss meetings.

this seems to me to be yet another flawed reasoning from the wt.

god is supposed to be jw's "father".

it always seemed a bit strange even when i was mentally in, the argument they used to support using the name jehovah.
