Haha, you're too kind.
A lot bigger! He's my favorite. I'm madly in love with Atticus Finch. And also with him as Joe Bradley in Roman Holiday.
i like to share my picture with you and that you share yours with me.
but only if that does not represent any problem to you.
here is mine.

Dagney took this pic of me at Grauman's Chinese Theater recently.
hi, this thread is inspired by the "bible characters trading cards" thread.... can we come up with a great list of female bible characters that were strong, decisive and inspiring?.
scully mentioned ja'el: drugging and driving a tent spike through the head (we all remember the awesome bible stories illustration) of the enemy general.. list yours along with a description of why they were so badass!.
.
Why Jezebel was a badass:

Speaking of Jael, does anybody else think that My Book of Bible stories borrowed a liiiiiittle too heavily from James Tissot's rendition?
we all have somebody we are crazy about that almost everybody can't stand.. if you mention their name your companions give you that "look" (ya know the one, like you just got caught picking your nose!).
i was thinking about this the other day.
i was truly curious if i'm mental or if everybody has a guilty pleasure list like i do.. i'm just going to assume we all do until you set me straight.. if you attach a photo and short explanation about why you like these pariahs it will be more meaningful.. .
@Eva Luna, I know! His delivery of that line was perfect. Kate Winslet/Marianne made me so ANGRY in that movie - I couldn't wrap my head around her being such a rude, flighty bitch to Colonel Brandon and preferring Willoughby. Even as a 9-year-old I knew he was preferable to Greg Wise AND Hugh Grant

If you like Rickman, then Truly, Madly, Deeply is a "must see". :P
YOWZA!
YES. Alan Rickman as a cello-playing ghost. 'Nuff said.

FlyingHighNow, all I know is that I've been madly in love with him since I was 9 years old and saw "Sense & Sensibility" and "Robin Hood". I just want him to read the dictionary to me in that smexy schlurry voice. But my friends look at me like I'm crazy whenever I say he's my lifelong crush.

Talesin, that is a smexy pic of Alan! Have you ever seen the music video where he does the tango? Makes me weak in the knees.
i just wanted to take a survey.
let's not let this get into the same old same old debate of atheism vs belief.
just respond with "atheist" or "believer" or "maybe god exists".
Atheist and also apatheist (i.e., on the very slim chance the existence of a deity-esque something was discovered and proven, given its utter remoteness and non-interference up until this point, it would not make one whit of difference in the way I live my life).

Eddie Izzard, Jon Stewart, Alan Rickman, Dylan Moran, Stephen Colbert. Though I'm not sure if they'd all be considered controversial.
you know, to fit in....to be a part of our own family or group and not be a total nerd or contrarian.. we hold our tongue.
we smile and nod.. but, then....there is at least one thing we just can't go along with because it is too important.. why?
because we are a total snob.
I have no idea why that posted a jillion times, btw. Software bug?
Edit: Nevermind, fixed.
