  Cocaine Plane Crashes-Identified as a CIA aircraft-True, or not true?

  filtering around the internet today, we have the story of a plane crash in mexico, and allegedly it belonged to the cia.

  the plane's cargo turns out to be 4 tons of cocaine.. the source of the story turns out to be 'the arnprior news,' arnprior apparently is a suburb of ottawa.. cia plane crash lands with four tons of coke - the arnprior news - reference: http://arnpriornews.wordpress.com/2011/04/14/cia-plane-crash-land-with-four-tons-of-coke/ .

  this news source is apparently only a internet site, so ordinarily i'd go past this story - but ..... first, for years after the cpc beat the daylights out of the american backed armies of gmd (kmt-that is the armies of generalissimo chiang kai shek).

  like many on here, as a jw trying hard to follow the direction of the gb, i listened to the advice to pioneer and trust in jehovah to provide (mat6.33) instead of going to university.

  after struggling for ages in low-paid physically-demanding jobs, i decided to become a student (thanks for the encouragement on here guys!).

  i tell a jw i wish i had been to university when i was a teenager, and put all that pioneer time into studying hard for a good grade, get a good job, and if i had wound up tired as i am now, at least i would have been paying into a mortgage on a home and pension.

  In 1973 I passed up a chance to go to grad school when I became a JW. Nine years later I decided I needed more education and went back to school, a decision I have not regretted for one second. I took some heat for doing that. In the spring of 1988 I sat through a talk at a CA about the evils of higher ed. By that time my two oldest children were approaching high school and I decided I was done listening to that crap. We DA'd a year later.

  Does this JW you were talking to realize that he's advocating rebellion against "God's Organization." Because that is your choice, do what they tell you to do or get kicked to the curb.

  you have all read in newspapers , heard it on tv, radio ,of the 23 year old indian woman student who was gang raped recently by no less than 10 men on a bus then severely beaten with an iron bar and then thrown off the bus in singapore and has since died of her injuries .. those perpretrators of that crime are deserving of the death sentence in my book .. if you willfully take a life or ,are a party to it ,you automatically forfeit your own life .that`s my philosophy .. what`s yours.

  I don't know how the Indian prison system works, I suspect it is not as "nice" as those in more developed countries. However, if they are anything like US prisons, just assign them to general pop and make sure every one in there knows they are rapists. They'll soon wish they were dead.

  I knew Ron Reynolds and his first wife back in the early eighties. We both attended a congregation in Pullman. Ron and I went hunting together, and worked rural territory together a lot. His wife and my wife were good friends and the kids played together all the time. He was a great guy then, I can't imagine what happened to him over the years. Maybe its a case of JW lifestyle making somebody's brain snap.

  Converted in 1973, so both B and C apply. As a couple of other said I liked what they said about living peacefully and racial harmony. Even though I had access to a university library with 2 million volumes I didn't do any research until about 1988.

  my vote is for the lord of the rings, all three of them.

  or pretty much any star trek movie.

  i tried watching the lor movies today, but my god, it's just battle after battle after battle and frodo, cute guy though he is, wimping out all over the place and having to be carried by everyone.. dull... i have never succeeded in watching those damn movies from beginning to end..

  General Accepted Accounting Principles? FASB.

  Not even that interesting. Some discussion of the difference between financial and operational audits (the state office does both), the size of the staff needed to accomplish that, and some discussion of what the auditors priorities should be. They both focused on the fact that the state ferry system and the Port of Seattle need close supervision, there are a couple of towns that need to be watched and basically it's the auditors job to see that the state is a good stewart of our money. Everybody in the state already knows all of that.

  Important, but not exciting to watch.

  PS I like LOTR, the HP movies are OK.

  I've discovered its almost impossible to watch Tom Cruise in anything anymore.
