  a regular guy went into a vape store in georgia recently, to buy his wife some liquid for her e-cigarettes.

  his big mistake was to wear a trump t-shirt.

  the shop assistant went completely mental because of the t-shirt.. the customer remained calm throughout and eventually got the product he wanted (i think).. but what a scene!

  In the spring of 1988 (long before the internet) I started reading Crisis of Conscience, hiding the book under my side of the bed, with some stuff I knew my wife wouldn't move on top of it. One Sunday morning my after deciding "I didn't feel well" and staying home from meeting. My wife decided the kids were coming down with something and didn't go either. She was doing a lot of cleaning, and I'm drinking coffee and reading the paper when she comes down the hall with CoC in her hand and a funny look on her face. Just as I'm thinking that this is where it all hits the fan, she grins and says "this is MY copy."

  She'd found mine, and assumed I'd located hers and she was going to be on the receving end of the argument. Then she found her copy where she stashed it on her side of the bed. We didn't know it until that moment, but we were both Apostates!

  Who were the Picts?

  so, i've been reading a bit about the picts recently.. i'm not sure there's a consensus on exactly who they were or what type of language they spoke.. even their name - picts - has more than one explanation of where it came from.

  i've read some scholars believe it comes from latin pictus (painted), referring to their supposed habit of painting themselves and/or tattooing themselves.

  other scholars believe that the name pict comes from another source.

  2nd Update/Scary Experience

  glad to say just got the news that the man who was arrested on suspicion about the dead bodies has been convicted of those two murders.

  his accomplice is on the run, search going on for him.

  there are talks about raising more awareness in the country park area now.. this news helps us to breath a little easy now.. thank you all for your support.. peace..

  A farmer is sitting on his front porch relaxing when two men carrying big buckets walk past the house toward his property. He asks them where they're going and they say "we saw some milk thistle back this way and thought we'd go get some milk."

  The farmer (wanting to see what will happen) says "That's stupid but go ahead." Later they walk back the other way, the buckets are full of milk.

  The next day they walk by again, he asks if they're after more milk. They say "no, we saw some butter cups when we were getting the milk, so now we're getting butter." Again he laughs and lets them go on. Sure enough, later they come back carrying buckets of butter.

  The third day, they come by again, but don't have the buckets. When asked what they're doing one of them says "Yesterday when we were getting the butter we saw some pussy willows...."

  "Wait a minute," the farmer says "I'm coming with you."

  Orphan Crow, what kind of story are you expecting? That's prime NYC real estate, lots of people would have wanted it. Buildings get bought and sold all the time. For the XJW community the money take is a big deal, I can't think of any reason to care who bought it.

  Gorbatchov, at this point there's no point in putting the money offshore, everybody knows they have it. If they have any brains at all its in the stock and bond market, or long temr money market funds.

  Setting up an LLC for each property is a common tactic among real estate investors. I've worked for several companies that did exactly that. NYC (and most other big cities) attract lots of foreign money. I'd be surprised if there are any big stories in the buyers, for them it's just a another transaction.

  My accounting brain always wants to look up a key stat. This year it took 7,363 hours of field service to produce one baptism. That's three and half years of full time work to make one baptized publisher.

  "Cult" is verbal shorthand for "A religion different from mine." It's just a word, this question has come up a million times here and elsewhere, and it will come up a million more. The response will tell you more about the person answering than it will the religion.
