Then would not the Watchtower corperation be in jeapordy of losing its TAX EXEMPT status?

being a witness involves accepting what you might call a "pyramid of belief.
" witness doctrines are based on their interpretation of the bible, which is in turn based on the belief that the bible represents the word of god, which is in turn based on the belief that there is a god that communicates with humans, which is in turn based on the belief that the universe was intentionally constructed by an intelligent being.
the jw belief system is thus the very top block on the pyramid of beliefs.. witnesses are not in the habit of considering their beliefs in this way, so it can be eye-opening to take a look at what you honestly believe at each level of the pyramid.
This is a "Must Read" pieces of Information that JW's could really benefit from. It's very good to be able to do some revealing soul searching and learn about yourself things that you didn't know exactly how to put into writing.

i was raised a dub, though not born one.
my mother had told the woman her story about studying in the 70's and that she believed the dubs were on to something but just didn't really care.

compile a list of email addresses of people and organisations in our state / county / country who should be told about our Big News.
Three questions.
Will we be sending out e-mail notices of the Big News or will this "clearing house" be sending out the notices once we forward to them a list of local agencies' e-mail addresses we compile?
Will the "clearing house" be sifting thru the e-mail address we give them to avoid sending duplicate e-mails?
If we have e-mail addresses of private citizens such as our former elders, or our relatives who are still active JW are we to forward these private e-mail addresses to the "clearing house"?

do you think that mexico jw's were spared by the governing body from rigid rules of not being involved in military issues/political party issues compared to other countries such as malawai, because the wts could make more money from people in mexico converting to jws as opposed to some other countries such as malawi?.
The entire purpose for the WTS to be a cultural group instead of a religious group was entirely due to the law about religious ownership of property
So the priorities of the Watchtower is increase assets and property ownership first, carry on the preaching and worship second.

i just learned about the release of the "big news" and was told that what i've been calling "big news" won't be released today or tomorrow but hopefully sometime this week.
if anyone is saying the 15th it is because we were told months ago that it would be mid-december when the big news would be released.
as soon as i know the day, you will know.

does anyone have a current "oath" that the baptism candidates are asked to recite just before they line up to get immersed in water?
i'm interested in the exact wording of it and if there have been any recent changes in it.. any help is much appreciated.

What bothers me about the baptism is the way this organization hold as binding all of their rules to a baptised minor.
Why is Baptism as a symbol of dedication to God regarded in actual practice in every Kingdom Hall as being of lesser importance than marriage by the UNWRITTEN but widely accepted practice of Baptizing children under the legal age of 18 years?
The Governing Body is “going beyond the things that are written” to pressure young one’s to take such a step before they are adults.
If any Christian Scripure exists that was instituted by Jesus to support this practice I'd like to see it.
