How do we identify the true Born Again Christyian's?
by wannabe innote his words on this: "most truly i say to you, unless anyone is born from water and spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of god.
look again, at what jesus said about being born again: "most truly i say to you, unless anyone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of god.
" unless anyone is born from water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of god.

Did you ever do something for this religion that now makes you shudder ?
by man in black inback in the early 80's right after i was married the main driving point i kept hearing at the meetings was "do more,,, pioneer ".. well being the young impressionable jw couple that we were, .
my wife is a speech therapist, so working pt was no problem, but i ended up working construction, cleaning carpets, and shoveling snow at all hours with the brothers, and i worked like a d*** fool at all hours.. funny how there was so much support for me to work with the witnesses, but once the decision was made work could be very iffy at times.. and the main thing that just causes me to cringe now is how so many of the witnesses in charge of the congregation thought that we did not need insurance, my wife had a policy with her school district, but my son and i did not.
granted medical expenses were not as bad then, but just the idea of thinking that we did not need it that god would watch over us just embarasses me to no end now.

God's biggest mistake
by bobld increated his son 1st,instead of wife/mother for adam/eve.antitypical father produced a/e than took off to galaxy eso513-13 and left the kids to fend for themselves.no guidance and unattended.if they had a mother..she would of provided care, protection, love, understanding watch over them, wisdom, insight.mother is full of forgiveness.his son was to baby sit,but could not be seen.. today when to have a mother and a father you can raise a child on the straight and narrow.even with satan and all of his demons.drugs, porn, immortality, money etc.yet a/e were in a perfect setting but no mother for guidance kids fell be the wayside.. b.

If the bible is god's handbook for man, why is it such gobbledegook?
by Aussie Oz ini don't mean the basic moral code of behavior (that many non biblical lands also just happen to have) that people use to model their lives, but the 'deeper' stuff.... assuming that god has had his divine plan for vindicating himself etc ever since he figured that adam may screw up, and he needed to let faithful mankind know the 'plan' and how to survive it all.... why is the important stuff all gobbledegook?.
the time frame, prophecy, signs and so on are all so obscure that even the cleverest theologians can't understand it or agree on it.
the 'truth' is so muddled and juggled up that every understanding can be logically challenged with an equally challengable one.
