The Watchtower Society uses the following Scriptures to say that they are being persecuted, however they seem to miss a major point, which I have highlighted in RED:
Matthew 5:10: Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
Matthew 5:11: "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for My sake.
Matthew 5:12: Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in Heaven. For that is how they persecuted the Prophets who were before you. -

the fallout from this will be huge.. if i were one of the top people in bethel and watched it, well all i can say is what you sow is what you reap, i would hate to be in your shoes now.. once again, thanks to all involved, it was fantastic!

THousands and thousands have died and suffered under religeon, theories that are taken literally and forced physically on societies. Theories and wonderful ideas that are TAKEN AS FACT.
You are correct, this is a horrible truth. So many people joining Religious Groups, Organizations, and Cults, who use mind control, and brainwash their members into doing whatever the Leaders want. It is so extremely sad.
we shouldn't base our every morality and life on religeous theories. IT is more dangerous and evil than anything else. BELEIF is what has driven people to kill masses at war, BELEIF is what gives us the excuse to do anything that in reality might be immoral but because we beleive 'its all in a good cause' or 'god wants me to' we think it's acceptable! To murder! ...To stop families getting together and caring for each other at christmas time, even if they don't BELEIVE in something they don't know exists! To STOP THE CELEBRATION OF LIFE at birthdays! ...To not think for yourself, to not feel the confidence and happiness that comes with making your own decisions for yourself, to question, to discuss ideas, to live for yourself and your family NOT AN ORGANISATION or a BOOK, that is sadness. And that sadness only adds to the evil hatred in our world.
You are correct. It is very sad when people believe that a certain Organization, Group, or Cult is THE TRUTH, and then they get so brainwashed that they will allow their children to be raped and allow them to die by refusing Blood Transfusions and to Shun their family and friends, it is so sickening it makes you want to puke.
However, if you read the New Testament, the GOSPELS, you will see that, Jesus Christ taught ONLY LOVE, He even said to LOVE AND PRAY FOR YOUR ENEMIES.
It still amazes and horrifies me that a Cult like the Watchtower Society can PERVERT Jesus Christ's Teachings the way they have done so.
