But you took it too literally, eh?
i left around a decade ago, life has not been easy, but it has been profoundly better than the jw robotics my earlier life chapters resembled.. my current life was going so well, too well...... and finally the nemesis of jahooha came out from his dark hiding place.
no longer in gods tent i was as vulnerable as the chinese job and his unfortunate sheep and children.. satan, bless his socks of cotton, has finally attacked, he broke my leg the dark lordy bastard.. a spiral fracture of the fibula and various fractures the ankle joint.. the worst of all his evil doings was the story i have to tell people, it's 'mechanism of injury'..... i slipped on some grass.
yes the devilish ball rash, got me good.. so now, i sit bored, wishing i had meetings to prepare for, talks to write and i long for the live bombing i would have received as an interesting new kingdom hall event in the decades of waiting on jahooha..... but all i have is some lame ass, american apostates on a forum..... tchhhh.... .

the dawn bible students association has a problem.
ken fernets, when on the phone, shows his true colors to women who call.
he engages in flirtatious speech.
If Splane or Jackson were in the habit of answering the phone and flirting with women who called the Watchtower that would not be considered a small thing here.
No, of course there would be recordings on YouTube and lots of shaming and name calling. They wouldn't dare answer phones--although Cedars was able to get TOMO on the phone and punked him.
Why should it be with the Bible Students?
One would think that if they're genuine about helping people get closer to God and find Christ then they'd act in a Christian manner. But history tells a different
Fernets answers the phones at Dawn.
The Dawn doesn't have the resources the WT does. They're not even close in size nor outreach.
One thing that has always puzzled me is why they continued to sell old books from Russell and Rutherford's books full of doctrinal error when in "Oh, the Blessedness" they drew away from those teachings.
It would be like if the WT still printed and placed old books with outdated "old light" along with the new WT--Oh, wait a minute they did do that! Okay, never mind on that one.
james penton is he still alive?
my wife left me his book but i've not found anything else on him.
does he post somewhere?.
I always find it so amazing how quickly Dubs turn on their own.
As someone said in another thread: "They shoot their wounded."

Thanks Blondie, Ros had a lot of good experiences to share about BRCI. It seems like a very welcoming and inclusive group.
Talking about BRCI and folks there, what I can't fathom is Cabeen going back to Catholicism. But to each his own, and if he's happy and helping others may God bless him.
Also Ron F. gave talks at Christian Believers' Conferences in Wenham MA at Gordon College and he never put on airs or act like he was above others, instead he showed a humble and caring Christian Spirit.
why is it almost the last question in the question section on jw.org if its so loveing mention it at every meeting mention it like crazy at all the assemblys on jw.tv i have never heard the term mentioned on jw.tv i did not hear at all at the regional but its so loveing
I really wasn't fully aware to what extent the DF'ing shunning policy went until after getting baptized, they changed the DA'ing policy for un-baptized publishers.
It used to be that if you committed a WT no-no and weren't baptized you would be DA'ed not DF'ed. Only baptized publishers would be DF'ed.
Then the policy changed so that unbaptized publishers were just announced as no longer being a publisher, but now weren't to be shunned. The publishers who were baptized would be DF'ed and shunned.
I spent years not getting dunked but doing all the routines and then started thinking I might as well get baptized if I get caught doing some no-no and being or not being a publisher would get me the same result. Now I think I may have waited even longer seeing the contrast in how unbaptized-publishers and baptized are treated (or mistreated).
this was going through my mind last night.. reviewing 2 key scriptures - james 1:27 - orphans and widows.
and micah 6:8 - what is god asking back?.
so, i start looking for this verse on www.biblehub.com, but every translation says "requires.".
The term is DORESH in Hebrew and I think it carries the meaning of looking, expecting (back).
God tells mankind what's good and he expects people to do good.
The blech edition (2013) of NWT has changed to "requires" (with footnote to the old)
Do you get the feeling from the changes to the NWT that they compared with other English versions and made changes so as not to have the NWT sound so corny and weird?
Like updating long-suffering to patience in the list of fruitage from the Spirit. I can't rattle all 9 of them off from memory unless I say long-suffering.
"lovejoypeacelongsufferingkindnessgoodnessfaithmildnessandselfcontrol"
We were expected to have all these proof texts ingrained in our memory for use at the door and in Bible Studies, and now they dare change the verses and don't even change the name of the translation to "revised."
I might as well have stuck to the New Jerusalem Bible, ASV or even King James. After all... I liked them better than the old-NWT anyways!

Previous discussion on Jehovah's Witness Discussion Forum:

I very much enjoyed meeting Jim and Marylin at the Christian Believers' Conference in Wenham,MA at Gordon College. These conferences are very upbuilding in my opinion and JW's and exJW's are very welcome there.
It's been a tough few years and many dear friends have passed away, Ray's generation, I guess.
Marylin, Jim's wife just passed last year as Vanderhoven7 said. Rose from ChannelC discussions also passed away and I've lost contact with many good and dear brothers and sisters who used to chat at ChannelC forum.
The last Christian Believers' Conference where I met with Jim and Gord, we talked about starting up a Commentary Press like entity which would keep Ray's books and other materials in print to help JW's break the chains to the WT. We talked about calling it Quest Press, reminiscent of Ron Frye's My Christian Quest.
I'd like to attend the CB Conference once again, it would be great to meet with folks who are interested in a WT/Bible Students reform movement.
the dawn bible students association has a problem.
ken fernets, when on the phone, shows his true colors to women who call.
he engages in flirtatious speech.
There are brothers in the Watchtower and among the Bible Students who would hope to keep the best of both- Soldering them together.
Okay, Frank.
I count myself in the group who would like a reformation of the WT/Bible Students movement in the manner of what happened with Armstrong's Worldwide Church of God. Those folks threw out all the crazy speculations and aberrations of Christian doctrine and are still around.
If the WT is to remain "around," I'd like to see a big change towards a more Christian doctrine and practice.
So let's start a discussion of what you've discussed with Bethelites, other JW pub's and Bible Students. I'll share some of my experiences. I'd rather have the discussion in this thread, with input from those who are interested in this part of the OP and not so much on the personal behavior of the hierarchy of both religions.
Or, if you'd like we can continue this discussion through a PM (just click on your username on top for PMs).

I'm very glad for Candace! I also hope she can have a happy and fruitful life.
What are the results in the case? Anyone here care to give us the rundown on the particulars of how much this case will set the WT back?
