  if you pay zoom the WT doesn't get a cut

  If the WT asks for a donation to them for using zoom they are running a scam

  after commenting on experts' differing views, i came across wolfgang wodang - a physician/politician.. he makes the point that coronavirus is no worse than the 'flu virus which killed 18,000 in 2017/18.

  so far, there have been 8,215 deaths from coronavirus in italy.. worth reading wikipedia's brief info on his theses.

  my old user account says i joined this forum 19 years ago, an intermittent poster starting 102 topics, the last about 12 years ago.

  with my community under a volunteer stay-at-home policy and a mandatory curfew, i took the time to read all of my old posts and the replies, reminding me of how informative and therapeutic this forum was during my jw to ex-jw transition.. in 2018, my life took another turn with the death of my wife of 49-1/2 years after a long illness.

  my writing, according to observers, lost its edge and purpose.. i travelled to asia, meeting a beautiful, intelligent woman in cagayan de oro, philippines, 33 years my junior.

  About the Memorial and Unleavened Bread Thing..

  unleavened bread has no yeast in it.

  and yeast is a symbol of sin, right?

  not good for symbolising whatever it's supposed to symbolise, obviously.. so my beloved missus, who i believe is possibly the best cook in the world (although i do have a soft spot for chef nigella lawson with those magnificent knockers and all) is an absolute ace at baking sourdough bread.. and yes, sourdough bread - especially when toasted - is absolutely yummy.

  The Holy Spirit

  if the holy spirit is an "active force", how can it be grieved (ephesians 4:30)?.

  in other words, according to the jw's, one can make jehovah's "force" sorrowful?

  this is an example of how the jw leaders have perverted the gospel in translation, and have put the jw's in a position in which they must perform intellectual gymnastics in order to maintain their false position.

  I'm a Christian and feel the help of the Holy Spirit as I try to live my life as a disciple of Jesus Christ. To me te Holy Spirit is a gentle force that serves as my guide in daily life. It helps me try to rise above my imperfections. I feel it also brings to mind Godly principles and teachings that allow me to better cope with life's anxieties and trials.

  i was listening to a radio show about a jw women who had been disfellowshiped , her daughter cut off all contact ,must admit at the time i thought so what.. then this man phoned up and explained he was disfellowshiped for asking about jws being ngo in the united nations during 90s till early 2000s when a newspaper exposed them , i still thought he's a apostate but looked it up found the article then found this forum and even more info..
