10 Steps For Successful Corporate Branding
For any company, branding is critically important it reflects and shapes relationships with its stakeholders customers, media, investors. Branding could mean the difference between success and failure. Just found an interesting article from author of author of Asian Brand Strategy: How Asia Builds Strong Brands,Martin Roll presenting 10 crucial steps for succesful corporate branding strategy:
1. THE CEO NEEDS TO LEAD THE BRAND STRATEGY WORK
The board room is the starting point of a corporate branding strategy with the CEO backed by a strong brand management team of senior contributors.
2. BUILD YOUR OWN MODEL
As not every model suits all, even the best and most comprehensive branding models have to be tailored to meet business’s own set of values.
3. INVOLVE YOUR STAKEHOLDERS
This way you can obtain a fair picture of the current business landscape including the current brand image, positioning and any critical paths ahead. Value the voices of your customers, employees and other stakeholders.
4. ADVANCE THE CORPORATE VISION
The corporate branding strategy allows management to involve, educate and align everyone around the corporate objectives, values and future pathway.
5. EXPLOIT NEW TECHNOLOGY
Modern technology should play a part in a successful corporate branding strategy. Technology contributes to improving effectiveness and improving the competitive edge of the corporation.
6. EMPOWER PEOPLE TO BECOME BRAND AMBASSADORS
The most effective way to turn employees into brand ambassadors is to train everyone adequately in the corporate brand strategy (vision, values and personality etc.) making sure they fully understand and believe! what exactly the corporation aims to be in the minds of its customers and stakeholders.
7. CREATE THE RIGHT DELIVERY SYSTEM
The corporate brand is the face of the business strategy and basically it promises what all stakeholders should expect from the corporation. Therefore, the delivery of the right products and services should be carefully scrutinized and evaluated on performance before any corporation starts a corporate branding project.
8. COMMUNICATE!
To bring the corporate brand to life one needs to implement a range of well-planned, well-executed marketing activities, ensuring the overall messages are consistent, clear and relevant to the target audiences.
9. MEASURE THE BRAND PERFORMANCE
The brand equity consists of various individually tailor-made key performance indicators (including the financial brand value) needs to be tracked regularly. A brand score card can help facilitate an overview of the brand equity and which gauge progress as the strategy is implemented.
10. ADJUST RELENTLESSLY AND BE READY TO RAISE YOUR OWN BAR ALL THE TIMES
A corporate brand should stay relevant, differentiated and consistent throughout time, so it is crucial to adjust to the changing business landscape.

Meeting for not paying assembly fees???!!!!
by Kool Jo inhey folks......has anyone else heard of, or experienced this before?.
i visited by parents over the weekend and accompanied them to their assembly....same rubbish spoken about since ive been born....obey the gb, donate your last penny, no education and be a pushover.. anyways, our assembly hall has lush vegetation and scenery, so i was more focused on that....i started dozing off after lunch, so got up and went walking, saw some older folks from the congregation i grew up with.. upon the conclusion of the assembly, wed normally leave out right after the prayer ends so as to avoid the traffic.
however, for this assembly he told me that hes gonna be a few minutes with the elders and branch representatives...so a few minutes turned into an hour..

Can This Be True?
by Hold Me-Thrill Me ini was very tired today, still am.

the kids will remember the video for about 1 day and then life will get back to normal
I know, right? Short attention spans, but think of this. That video is going to be seen over and over by kids who'll be babysat with that video and others like it. They'll identify closely with Caleb and Sophia. Maybe the WT is trying to curb infant obesity. "Don't eat fatty icecream, give us your money instead, you'll get that dopamine release reward from doing as you've been brainwashed, child!" Bunch of greedy money grabbin GB now turned into drug pushers of feel good brain chemicals!
The craziness over the movie Frozen is ample proof. Four year olds singing along with Anna! Having the time of their lives. But, they're not being asked to give up their icecream money to a Real Estate Development and Publishing Empire masking as a religion.
When their minds are the most pliable and the rate of growth is the highest in brain development. Habits and future mind-sets are formed. This Contributions & No Icecream video is nothing short of blatant, infant brainwashing.

May JW Broadcasting Video about the Money Problems
by FusionTheism inin the video, they repeatedly talk about these big ugly misunderstandings that have taken place between the circuit overseers and the elders,, at least partially, leading to their current money problems fiasco.. if the governing body were intentionally lying, wouldn't they lie to make themselves and their elders look better, instead of worse?.
what would the motive be for them to tell everyone about these big misunderstandings?.

Spiritual AMNESTY -- Return to Jehovah
by FusionTheism inbasically, from what i can tell from the new return to jehovah brochure, is that the governing body is now offering amnesty to anyone who has been gone from the congregation but now wants to return.. it claims it doesn't matter what sins you've done, or what caused you to leave, if you repent to jehovah and ask the elders to help you, and return to the meetings, you'll be warmly welcomed with no disciplinary action or judgment against you..

What? On page 9 there's a sister with her back to the congregation. It can't be a real congregation--there's not even one overweight person in the bunch!
It's all just as fake through the whole book.
It's a tool to clear the conscience of shunners. They can surreptitiously hand this to a DF'ed relative and feel that is now upto the DF'ed person to acquiesce or continue to be shunned.

Your post was very encouraging. Thank you so much.
Likewise, Frank, thanks for your original post in the discussion forum. It took some tenacious daring-do for you, no doubt, since you weren't scared away by some of the other posts people share here.
Take the good and dump the bad, like the dragnet. Each person needs to work out their own salvation through their faith in God and Christ. Although, if we can encourage one another, we should, and that's a blessing.
We can't gain salvation for others, they need to put faith in Jesus Christ. But we can't judge anyone, God can read hearts and knows what each person has gone through. If we had to walk in each others sandals I'm sure we'd see everything with more understanding of who they are and how our experiences have a big part in molding us into who we are as people.
Tell us how you ended up here, feel free to share more, if you're comfortable with that.

Not Enough Oil
by Harold OMorning ingo instead to those who sell it, and buy some for yourselves.
matt 25. so .....when someone anointeded claims they need more of an item of value that we have when they already had and used it unwisely is this the correct response?
.

No it just means that they weren't prepared, and someone who is prepared and full of faith in their salvation through holy spirit, can't bestow that blessing on someone else, they have to sort out themselves what belief they hold that can sustain them, until the fulfillment of that salvation arrives.
That's how I understand it anyway.
When a Christian sees someone in need and can do something about it, the right thing is to try to help, so in this case the counsel is not that, not to give of what you can't provide someone else by yourself, you need to go to the one who bought salvation for you by having faith in him, with hope, demonstrated through one's baptism. I cannot buy salvation for you, you can't buy salvation for me. The one selling it at no price, gratis is God himself through one's faith that Jesus is the Christ, that is the promised Messiah.

@Hold Me-Thrill Me
Dear Frank,
Your words indicate you're a Christian man of faith. In this discussion forum there are many people who have lost faith due to their experience with the Watchtower, its rules and its mistreatment of people.
I haven't lost my faith in Jehovah God and Jesus Christ only because I can see the difference between the Organization (those who claim to speak for God) and God himself. But I can understand those who've left and have lost their faith due to the hurt and disappointments they've felt while in the Organization. I am very "opposed" to the half-truths and the lack of humility when those who govern the Organization make mistakes and then blame it on the ones that followed them.
There are also quite a few here who still consider themselves believers in God, and I encourage you to share with others your experiences and your thoughts because it can be liberating to vent and rant without fear of retaliation. If discouraging words from atheists are something you can't stomach, then address your posts very clearly to those who still believe in God, if they're not interested in the topic then they'll skip it--No need to make you feel bad about sharing. Although from time to time you'll find here some who just like to jab at believers, it must be fun for them to act like jerks, maybe, I don't really know why, But people are people and everyone has the right to express their opinions whether they believe in God or not.
If you haven't read the book entitled Crisis of Conscience I very highly recommend it to you. I had a chance to translate the chapter on the Governing Body into Spanish among others, and proofread the book before publication. It was a great experience, very eye-opening to take time and read it slowly and with understanding. It was a life changer for me and I felt it really reinforced my faith not in an Organization but in the Bible and its message.
So welcome to the discussion forum, I'm glad you found your way here, my brother.

I think the WT believed their own "growth" statements - Financial Trouble Thoughts
by thedepressedsoul inwe've all read, heard and have seen in the videos where jw's and their leaders talk about the "huge" growth that is taking place.
they've talked about how many kh they needed, branches etc... .
our co last visit he mentioned how quickly the organization is speeding up and the huge growth they are seeing.

by discouraging higher paying careers and guilt-tripping the sheep for more contributions they can instill a sense of constant dependence on the bOrganization to assure them things will be all right, paradise is just around the corner.
In essence sheeple (as we, ourselves may have been at one time) exchange the promise, by the WT oligarchs, of safety and paradise ahead, for the future we pass up, the reality of which depends on getting a good education and reaching for a successful career.
The end result is slavery, physical, mental, and emotional to self-appointed Governors of our faith and hopes.

Wow, I'm definitely impressed!
It does make perfect sense that after all that Christ would be "exhausted", doesn't it? It was so funny!

New way of preacing?
by dogon ini have noticed that in florida at least i see at every flea market and or town square jws sitting drinking coffee with a table and a couple of sandwich signs with watchtowers and awakes doing nothing more than playing on their phones and or talking to each other.
i have not yet seen anyone going up to them and engaging them but i bet they are counting time.
what a cheat.

Hey, if given the choice back when I too would have opted to sit at a display table in a flea market and drank coffee instead of knocking on empty houses or waking up people who work at night or were sick from work that day--heck yeah. lazy or not. :-)
