  Is The Internet The Worst Thing That Could Happen To The Organization?

  the witnesses try to demonize the internet.

  in your opinion is the internet the biggest problem for the watchtower organization?.

  The biggest problem in my opinion is the GB, keen to cling to old dogma, smug and self satisfied. Maintaining a grip on the r&f that can only cause people to become disillusioned. The explicit instructions to obey GB without question in Watchtowers recently and the overt calls to worship the GB through the new songs may be a step too far for some. An even bigger problem is the increase in annointed and the failure of the big A to come.

  The whole history is a problem because they have kept it secret for so long it has greater impact when it comes to light.

  The internet is of value when people have questions but the majority would never think to question their beliefs.

  I feel desperately let down by the GB. They told me they were chosen by god to tell me the truth. I don't blame anyone who is told a lie and believes it. I do blame those that knowingly tell a lie, or know something is a lie and perpetrate it.

  Like Cantleave I am so angry with myself, I always considered myself smart and should have checked what I was told. I thought I was clever because I got the answers right, how much time I have wasted reading acaedemically weak literature, with poor research and misleading quotations. I should have seen through it myself. What annoys me is that in this instance Cantleave was smarter than me. It'll take years to get my credibility back.

  Brothers and sisters behave badly because of mind control how can I judge them badly when I was like them until recently.

  Snow in UK stops meetings!

  most congregations in this area had no meeting last thursday,.

  they have now cancelled tomorrows meetings .

  perhaps snow is worse than the internet!.

  time will tell i suppose.. for the first time in about two years he actually initiated contact with me, via a very brief pm on facebook.

  before i left the 'truth' we were absolute best friends for about 35 years.

  is it possible that we might begin a yin-yang friendship?

  How disappointing for you, no one likes rejection. He does sound like a bit of a muppet. Never mind time is on your side since there in no big A on the horizon.

  Talked to a good friend

  i had one of the best days i've had in a long time.

  it was cold and snowy so i declared my own snow day.

  and went for a walk with my dog in 13 degrees fahrenheit while treading through snowy slush.

  Every time we make these connections we grow as people. I am so encouraged by each contact reestablished. The fact that we can build these relationships shows the lie that people outside the org are cold and selfish. Well done.

  It depends on the elders and how spiteful they are. I think a lot has to do with personality and also if they get wind of apostate thinking espeacially if someone tries to share thoughts with others then they will hound to get you out by any means such is the fear of apostates.

  Truth is made clearer by scrutiny, it is proven and not frightened of exposure. The rest is faith, different perspectives and lies.
