Ah this is a good one. Paragraph 11 features the example of why Alex should rat out Steve for his porn viewing habits

Then paragraph 16 tells the tale of Roxana, who went to the convention even though her boss said he was going to fire her. Then when she gets back she gets fired. She walks down the street and gets another job which pays double though she has no experience. But then she tops it off by bringing five people into the cult at the new job.

And I thought the 89 year old pioneer was a whopper!

Jesus Trashes 1914 in ONE Sentence!

it only takes one short sentence from the bible to thoroughly demolish the watchtower religion and the doctrine they claim is their most important one.

this sentence is so crystal clear that there is no way the wts can weasal out of it.

that's why they don't even try.. although their real most important doctrine is that the governing body speaks for god, their claimed most important doctrine begins with the notion that jesus took kingdom power and began reigning in 1914. if that doctrine can be shown to be false, the entire watchtower theology scam crumbles into the trash heap where it belongs.

The new book that they are studying at the "book study" makes an attempt early on to justify "door to door" I will try to find the exact quote.

Thanks VM44, that is what I was thinking of. Since it hadn't been discussed for a long time in WT publications for a long time I thought they had quietly dropped the idea.

I'm not too familiar with young earth creationists, if this is one of their theories then the WT looks pretty dumb by aligning themselves with one of their theories while at the same time stating that the creative "days" took untold amounts of time.

correct me if i'm wrong, but i think i just realized another wt contradiction.

i read a critical analysis of the origin of life and was life created brochures called "weighed and found wanting" (which is exellent by the way and recommend it, it's here somewhere).

as i read along on the brochures i finally noticed how the society makes constant appeals to your own common sense and intuition.

Another example, other Christian religions. They want everyone who goes to another church to question, question, question. They slam other religions against the wall and pound them to a bloody pulp. But try that with their reliigion? You are quickly lableled an opposer, tool of the devil, or if you once were in there cult, the dreaded A word. Just a bunch of hypocrites posing as God's mouthpiece.

June 15th WT, Trap Your Kids in the Cult

the worst article is the first one, a non-study article.

shows pictures of a kid, looks like he is 10 years old.

The thing that is really psychotic about this article is how they make this kid look. As mentioned, there is no way he is older than 12. The first set of pictures has studying his magazine and then commenting at the meeting.

The next set has him vacuuming his room, (fine kids should have some work to do) but then he is hawking magazines in the next scene. Then they show him in some sort of intensive prayer pose. Finally, the baptism picture is next.

WHEN DOES THIS KID GET TO BE A KID?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?

They are trying to turn these kids into adults way before they should have to even THINK about being an adult! When does this kid play? Do his homework? Lay on the couch and watch Sponge Bob for an hour? Play with his dog? Build a model car? Shoot hoops at the playground?

These cultists are so intent on trapping people into their sham of an organization for life that they are willing to sacrifice the innocent!

Nice business model Watchtower, make them into little mini adults before they even hit their teens, then they won't leave. Sorry WT, you are sick and wrong, people are going to keep leaving because they see what a scam you are running.
