I wouldn't call it unfair. Its the truth, and the truth hurts sometimes.
It is true because they are in danger by being a Jehovah's Witness (blood policy). While they are losing out on plenty of other things by being a JW, the threat to their life, though low in the grand scheme of things, still warrants a warning if we feel like giving it to them.

today i uploaded a new article onto my blog recounting the days when watchtower had witnesses turning in field service reports on a weekly basis.

Never understood the value in tracking all the time. Even when I Pioneered. As I can see no value in it in any way.
Its only of value to the overall pyramid structure of the WT organization. Each level keeps tabs on the level below, making sure they are meeting their monthly quota, whatever that may be. Those who aren't measuring up can be "encouraged" properly. Its all to benefit the leaders on top of the pyramid, with additional benefits to those close to the top.
here and there i've run across a couple articles that refer to wt art as "nut art.
" however, when i do a google search for this term, i mainly find websites about art literally made with nuts, like pistachios, etc.
is there actually a genre of art called "nut art," and are there any websites that discuss it and provide examples of non-wt as well as wt?
Are you looking for "nutty" pictures where JWs depict Armageddon? Or there are conspiracy theorists that say the WT puts hidden pictures of the debil into their art.

If you have disposable income, there is a better chance that you will spend it on the weekends on travel, home improvements, and other recreation. If you are doing these things, then you probably aren't peddling WT and Awake magazines. There might even be a change you miss the hardcore Sunday indoctrination session known as the Watchtower study. Keep missing meetings and service, and you might discover the world isn't really filled with crack-smoking, wife-swapping, demon-worshipping people.

Now how they calculate that is another matter. Do they count every kid that is an UBP? Just those that get dunked then leave? Whatever the method, too many are leaving and the GB recognized their little cult will die a long slow death if they can't turn this around.
So they are trying to get kids dunked earlier, keep them away from college, and off of the internet. (Good luck with that GB)
When they start encouraging JWs to have kids, we will know they are really desperate.

Uhhhh....well I was thinking of the *golf* reference. But now I have another frame of reference.
it fosters an entitlement spirit of superiority among jw's (due to my good works for the wt, i'm gonna be there), and makes a mockery of god's grace (salvation is a gift; it can never be earned).. just my thoughts.. syl.
1,000 people have to die in this world for each JW to make it through Armageddon.
Assuming 45 billion people get resurrected, and one-third of them get erased at the end of the thousand year reign when the "final test" happens, then another 15 billion die. That means another 2,000 people for each current JW get killed AGAIN!
So 3,000 people die eternally for each JW that gets saved at "Armageddon part I" and the "The Big A Returns: Part II"
So instead of Christ's death for all mankind, 3,000 have to die before each JW gets their paradise. I agree, they are pretty damn selfish.

I'd love to see someone show the elders up with this little tidbit the second they question 1914, the faithful slave, or Christ's role as mediator!
