Got my JC cancelled... (at least for now)

so my wife and i have been in the process of fading for a few months now as per my original post here.

about a week ago, i was browsing some ex-jw facebook groups when i saw a post that linked to the crisis of conscience book.

i said "f@(k it" and hit share on it.. a few hours later, i get a long text letter from my mom (who was a fb friend of mine) telling me the typical "good luck finding friends in the world" and how we have "nothing in common anymore"; basically, it was a 'farewell' text.

Stick with the original defense:

If there is no response after a first and a second admonition, a judicial committee should be formed.

So if they decide to go to a JC now, they aren't following directions. You stated you aren't going to cause problems. Let them know how offended you are by their insistence on breaking up your family. Hint at legal defenses.

If they still try the JC I would personally threaten legal action individually against each member, and demand testimony from each and every witness who says they saw the post on FB.

i have learned much from this ministry.. hugh ross is a trained scientist and pastor who specialises in marrying the bible with science (both of which are records of truth).

he has an msc and phd in astronomy and was a post-doctoral fellow with the california institute of technology.

I'll take the bait and simply say its not in crisis, its how it works. It hasn't been working well for a while, and maybe its finally going to come to a head.

This is the chance everyone has been waiting for to destroy the two party system. Everyone complains about it yet won't do anything about it. Neither party listens anymore to what their base says, they simply are power structures that are out for self survival. Look at the republicans, they have an alternative in two former repubs running on the Libertarian ticket. Yet none have broken rank and endorsed Johnson/Weld all the while they moan about Trump. All they care about is their power structure not tumbling down.

If you're a socialist living in America, then vote Green.

I'm voting libertarian for the first time, and at this point I can't imagine ever going back to the dems or the republicans. The only way they will ever respond is if you take your vote away and give it to the party that aligns with your thinking.

Its a simple lack of self awareness.

You've got a giant circle jerk going on at HQ. Everyone there is playing by the rules that the leaders put out there, so there are no checks and balances like you would find in the real world. If someone comes up with some offensive idea nobody is willing to stick their neck out there and say "Wait a minute, we are going to look like fucktards if this is put out in the public eye."

And if the GB ultimately approves this in the end like their literature bragged about in the past, well we know what kind of educated people sit at the top. Tight pants Tony and Crazy Stevie Lett. Need I say more?

just thought id let you all in on some info i found on northeasttruth.com.

that magical moment where the moon blocks out the sun!

but only just enough to perfectly cover the suns disc, whilst still allowing us to see the corona of light and other electromagnetic forces radiating from it.. this only happens because the moon diameter is exactly 1/400th the size of the suns and is positioned at exactly 1/400th of the distance between earth and the sun!so, when we see it from the surface of earth, we are in the only place this can ever be seen, at the only time it could ever happen.

I believe they are "captives of a concept". Yes they know there are problems, but truly think they are blessed by Jah. I think they also believe Jah will bail their collective ass out if it really comes to that. All this child abuse stuff may actually be feeding their persecution complex.
