  please ask me why was my brother on the jehovah's witness official facebook page, telling the faithful dubs on there why he doesnt understand why he satan keeps calling him back to the world, and then talks about why he needs to start going back to the hall.

  then he gets on his facebook and talks about how gay people should die a slow and painful death???

  wtf.

  i have had it with my mother.

  i've spoken on the board before about her.

  she is fanatically religious, often keeps me on the phone for hours while she talks endlessly about the bible.

  Feb. 15th WT - WT Society says DFed Ones are Lawless- Just Like Demons

  i would assume that some or a good number of us here as normal humans in this society - consider " lawless " actions to include murder , robbery, extortion, rape, child abuse, war , terrorism, etc.

  the wt society has their own definition of what's considered " lawless ".

  anything that's considered a disfellowshipping offense in the jehovah's witnesses is now considered " lawless ".

  Is it acceptable for JWs to put flowers on a loved one's grave?

  i want to go and put some flowers on my grandma's grave.

  she died 9 years ago feb 19. i haven't been out there since the funeral.

  i can't remember where the cemetary is, and i will have to ask my jw relatives (who don't know my status) where she is buried.

  I don't think they approve of such things. My uncle was tryig to get re-instated several years ago and that was one thing he was told to stop doing.When my mother passed 4 years ago, not only did my JW Elder father not visit her grave and place any flowers he also told the cemetery that they could have her ashes! He threw her away like garbage. Yet everyday he "mourns" for her. Crying and stuff. He makes my stomach turn. How do you love and care for a woman for 40 plus years and can't do something as simple as afford her a proper burial?

  questions you could never get answers to

  i remember when i was going to the meetings there were questions that i had which i could never get good answers too.

  just one of them i had was how to explain how you knew if you were one of the one hundred and forty four thousand.

  i remember trying to explain this to one of my work friends and the reasoning of you just know, like you know if u are a boy or girl sounded stupid to him.

  I understand your questions too. I watched my sister squirm last year when her nurse asked why she didn't celebrate birthdays. As a child I never knoe these answers either. As an adult, I still don't know why JW's do and don't do certain things.

  i just noticed that the dr phil show today (on at 3 pm here) is titled " parents are confronted by their adult children over alleged childhood wrongs".. should be interesting!.

  What's up with the rings on the right hand?

  i noticed two of these guys (losch, and the one to h is left) both have rings on their right hand ring finger.

  i have known several co's and do's to wear rings on their right hand.....david biegler i think wore one.

  i don't find many r&f male jw's or average "worldly" men wearing rings on their right hand.
