Why move magazine printing from the U.S. to Canada?
by factfinder inthe january 2011 issues were printed in canada so the change was made.. the wts spent millions of dollars enlarging and updating the printing operations in wallkill so they could consoladate the book and magazine printing at the one location.
it was in 2004 that they stopped the presses in brooklyn and began book production in wallkill.. now just 6 years later they suppossedly sold several of their presses from the u.s. and canada, bought a large new very fast press for canada and had to enlarge the printery there to accomodate it.. now the canada branch will print over 260 million magazines for the u.s.each year and all the expansion done in wallkill was for nothing.. does anyone know why this was done?.

Throwing a wet blanket on 2034
by pirata inon a few occasions i've heard suggestions of 2034 as the "date", since it is 120 years after 1914; just like noah's time.. it looks to me like the governing body is being pro-active in preventing this in becoming a date that is speculated on.. the dec 15, 2010 wt (printed version) has an interesting qfr, asking if noah had knowledge of the 120 years.
the answer was: noah didn't know about the 120 year time period, but that didn't matter to him because he knew it was coming and kept busy.
i don't currently have the printed copy handy but can post a few quotes from it later on (unless someone else has it handy).. just thought it was interesting.

How do they know Noah didn't know about the 120 years? And yes he knew it was coming because he spoke personally with God, something we cant do today. How are we supposed to put faith in a God who refuses to reveal himself when he did so on a regular basis in the old testament?

apostate and porn sites, violent games, useless and frivolous entertainment, and so on.
for now, they are contended with just giving friendly warnings.

The true one, over the years I have been utterly shocked at what some witnesses don't know about their own beliefs. As for the Mason-Russell connection there seems to be evidence pointing both ways. However one cannot deny he did at least "borrow" some of their symbols.
