  my opinion is that atheism is not a belief.

  You are embarassed ?

  I wouldn't be embarrassed if I didn't know what someone was rambling on about. I'd say "No, I have no belief in or knowledge of this entity".

  The bible is a scientifically worthy collection of books. The effect it has had on human social evolvement is interesting. The mere fact that people were writing and reading in that region in those days is interesting. Study it, consider it, don't study it, don't consider it. Your decision.

  Did you ever know any JW's/Pioneers who frequented popular nightspots and got drunk?

  it used to make me sick at these hypocrites.. they would be at the meeting the next day or out in field service, obviously still intoxicated from the night before but putting a show on before the congregation.

  i knew a couple of girls who would be regulary doing this over a weekend yet they would be pioneers all week, answering up at the meetings yet would be heading into popular nightspots and coming home at 4am drunk.

  their dad was an elder (surprise, surprise).. i remember telling an elder about this once.

  (although there were a few jw females i once knew who just happened to be wider than the shoulders in a place somewhat lower than the shoulders.

  How do you handle the wickedness going on today?

  we know in the jw realm, satan is believed to be the main cause of all the wickedness going on in our world today.

  after taking a quick look at news headlines, and seeing the crap going on around us, i personally don't find that so hard to believe.

  but i wanted to see how you guys handle the tragedies and wickedness going on around us?

  I love this from 70-Years (4 months ago).......

  I don't have enough service hours to have any priviledges, but they said I can still clean the hall and cut the grass. I told them if I'm not fit to carry a mic I'm not fit to push a lawnmower or a vacuum cleaner
