  Sister in my Congregation claims Jehovah always answers her prayers....including her new skirt and shoes for $20 bucks???

  to show you how dumb and shallow my congregation is a one of our "deeper" sisters claimed in field services that "jehovah answers all my prayers...like last week i wanted a new skirt and shoes for field service but only had $20 dollars....and would you believe i found them!!!

  now i for one though well, why didn't you pray or the oil pipe in the mexican gulf to dry up...or food for the poor in haiti.

  other pioneers tell of vegetables falling off trucks just when they had nothing for dinner???

  Something Good for Worldly: Still going to die in armageddon unless they listen

  Something Outlaw once said comes to mind (Substitute "We miss you" with appropriate phrase):

  A JW says "We miss you.."

  Don`t take it personally..It`s just an animal making noise..

  Why can't the WTS handle the truth on why people really leave the organization?

  what do you think are the reasons why the wts can't handle the truth on why members quit?

  why must they disfellowship everyone who would say something like this to an elder on why he/she no longer wishes to be a member......................................................................................................... '' i do not want to be a member any longer because of the changing ''generation'' teaching,the wts is just a publishing and real estate corporation,the preaching work is just a means to distribute books and magazines,the baptism and disfellowshipping of teenagers is wrong,the meetings are boring,the meetings are repetative, the 144,000 is symbolic not literal ...etc.....etc.....

  Well imagine the disaster if they let these questioning members stay. Reason and Logic would spread like wildfire and pretty soon everyone would be asking the same questions.

  My question is: does it really matter whether the Watchtower is written by a committee member or a GB member or anyone else if the entire organization is fraudulent? I don't believe ANY of them represent Jehovah or have the direction of Holy Spirit.

  It may matter to those still in.

  JWs are told that the Governing Body is the representative of the Faithful and Discreet Slave.

  JWs are told that only the representatives of the Faithful and Discreet Slave provide the spiritual food.

  The fact that the "non-annointed" are writing articles, which is assumed by the average JW to be "spiritual food" from the "faithful slave", may make some go 'hmmmmm.....'

  "Jehovah's Witnesses Faith in Action -Part 1: Out of Darkness" sounds like a History DVD. If so, it should make for a variety of good discussion topics about the older beliefs, and also to point out anything that was glossed over.

  How Do People Like Sir 82 & Others Who Are Active JWs Do It ???

  i appreciate any who tell us what the latest co's talk is about or what was said at the meetings.

  i just don't know how you can do it.

  knowing that the "truth" is false and even laughable, it boggles my mind that you can still go, listen to the spiritual bullshit and maintain.. how do you do it?.

  How often did you get donations from the HH in the FS?

  because in my experiance it was once in a blue moon!

  even if we did ask/ suggest for money.

  most of the contributions put in the box were out of the jw's own pocket.

  One time I placed a book and got a donation. I rarely hear a JW mention the donation arrangement (except when giving a sample presentation on a kingdom ministry part on how to ask for a donation). Most congregations as a whole seem to contribute enough to cover the cost of the magazines they donate, use, recycle or stack up at home.

  Exactly. It's very taxing mentally at times, but I feel a need to (actively) stay in in order to retain my family and (hopefully) have the spiritual credibility to try and help my family.
