  Is reasoning with a JW the answer?

  when i first left the watchtower society, i can remember being very eager to learn new information, especially information which pertained to discrediting the watchtower organization.

  i called it "the cage stage" .

  this excitement and newfound change in worldview completely rocked my world.

  How can one reason with a person who believes in Theocratic Warfare? There is NO reasoning with a person that has decided to lie to propagate their religion. Facts fall on deaf ears when they think everyone lies

  Whats the one thing

  jw's are constantly trying to prove they have the truth.

  they always point to matthew 24:14 and say "who is accomplishing this work today?

  this proves we have the truth and gods backing".. for those of us in this community looking from the other side what is one thing that proves to you that this organization does not have gods backing?

  They came and dumped on my faith and had me leave. Once I found out ALL of the lies and even the saying

  "Lying for the Truth" That was the one thing for me.

  Good article that explains pretty well the JW position.

  The position ,of course, is lie to help the WTS

  The position is also known as "Lying for the Truth"

  Why would ANY organisation want to promote such a destructive policy?

  Answer- Have to to hold on to your people anyway that you can because.....False prophesies claiming that Armageddon was happening in the 19th century, then the 20th century and now, most certainly NOW in the 21st century has never happened.

  Scripture twisting, word and phrase twisting too.

  Ask a JW about their fruits and you will hear of door to door evangelizing and restoring God's true name. Of course, these are NOT fruits, they are works. And these works have produced NO fruits that I am aware of.

  i recently decided to take matters into my own hands with my husbands family who have nothing to do with us.

  his mom has seen my son twice since he has been born and his dad has never met him.

  his family will pop in every few months, on top of that like in my last post ask for for money.

  True or False .... The JW Religion was Started by Amateur Self Avowed Bible Theologians ?

  .....who were able to propagate their self devised bible theology by utilizing a printing plant which they themselves were the head editorial writers .

  c t russell and the man to follow him j rutherford, were both not academically trained bible theologians but they certainly were inspired businessmen to the fact, charlatans of their own era and time.. the return of jesus christ and a new world order to replace an old wicked world order, was just too much of a marketable and tangible concept for those men to just leave alone.

  they exploited the already existing belief in the bible already structured within the population to where they preached their created version of the gospel, the rest is now history as well their many self devised albeit commercially appealing failed doctrines .

  One Christian church started by Jesus,

  built by the apostles,

  and 29,999 hundred other churches started by men who thought [think] that they know more about the bible than the people who have given and protected the bible.

  Keep in mind that the bible came AFTER the apostles started HIS church.

  as of yet, no member of the jehovah's witness faith can defend their unique beliefs.

  when the dust settles, it all comes down to blind faith in men's ever-changing ideas.

  this "unique belief" was not a "true teaching of the bible.

  Do JWs think Jesus was a liar or just a fool?

  Interesting perspective fulltimestudent.

  Incredibly, in spite of these 4th century converted people, the church still grew to include some 20% of the entire world's population.

  And the church that was started by Jesus [,under the influence of his deluded mother], started an organization that compiled the most popular book ever written. Gave the world the college system, hospitals, foodbanks, homeless shelters, orphanages, the scientific method, and civil rights for ALL people. It's amazing when you think of how it all started, and yet continues. Of course, these are just observations
