this is jehovah's org.

so now let's take a look at jehovah's character, he gets angry yet he forgives sometimes a lot sometimes not so much but got to admit, he always sent a warning.

I think scripture states that Jehovah is the same today, yesterday and tomorrow. It also states that Jesus is the same today as yesterday and the same tomorrow. JW.org changes all the time, their teachings and beliefs.....so, I think the org is like neither

Is it true? John Denver asks any Witnesses to leave his concert!

version 1. john denver at his concert asks "if there are any jehovah's witnesses in the audience can you please leave.".

version 2. on the johnny carson show he said the same before singing a patriotic song.

johnny carson told denver "see that cameraman there..and that lighting guy...there jehovahs witnesses, alot of witnesses work for me because their honest people..so now you can leave.".

I've heard reports of brothers and sisters selling their homes to devote full time to the correct and rightous teachings of the Watchtower and Tract Society. Certainly, this is a great way to spend the short remaining time here before Jehovah ends this evil system of things......

Is there any evidence that the WTS stated the 20th century would be the last?

i know that other early dates are well documented leading up to 1975. it did seemed that the wts learned to stop setting dates, but i seem to recall talk about the 20th century will certainly be the last according to god's perfect timing.

i can't recall specifically where i heard such blatant rhetoric though.. anyone?

144,000 & The Trinity

now that i'm looking beyond what the wt teaches i'm struggling to find information on three topics.

the 144,000, the trinity and prayer.. if anyone has 5 minutes could they explain:.

1. what do other religions think the 144,000 are or is?

The Father of the OT and NT is God. God is so awesome of a being that when he speaks, his words are alive. Like a hand attached to a body, the hand is part of the body. The Father's words are like a hand [,part of his body] and exerting all of the authority of the Father. So if Jesus is the Word of God, and God is so awesome that his words are alive, then the word of God has ALL of the authority of God.

That's how I see it without getting too technical and philosophical.

Truth and Honesty? Why is it only a one-way street??

the society, "gods channel" teach and expect truth and honesty from all witnesses.

scripures are often quoted to promote such.. but, why is it only a one way street?

why is the society not truthful and honest with witnesses?

My uber elder brother still regrets the day he uttered those very telling words to me while trying to indoctrinate me into the lying cult of Jehovah's Witnesses.

He said' We call it "lying for the Truth" ' The implications and weight of those words hung heavy to all but him. Now it is called 'theocratic warfare' Disgraceful is the nicest thing you could say about such a thing.

"We dont mourn the dead"

i remember a brother making the above statement in regards to an elderly sister who had passed.

he stated we don't mourn or even visit grave sites because we have a hope that jah will resurrect the dead.

it seemed really creepy at the time, hell, even jesus wept when lazarus died.

I always wondered about that, because I think Jesus knew that he would resurrect Lazarus. Interesting that he still mourned him.

It is normal to mourn those that we love because we know that we will not see them in our everyday life anymore

after seeing a watchtower representative paste the same thing over and over, about jw.org being available in 850 languages.... we all know how the watchtower loves to boast about the number of languages it translates into.

what are the facts?

It is funny that they will boost about certain things like this and upon closer inspection, the thing they were boosting about ends up being a lie[ability]

IE; Ask active JWs about fruits and hear about restoring Gods true name and love in their cong.

Look closely and see that there is nothing that they give the world.

Restoring God's name has done what in particular? Anything? Bueller, Bueller?

Jehovahs Witness organization were never approved by Jesus Christ in 1919

according to jehovahs witness beliefs/doctrines , dont they acknowledge that the international bible students association , ibsa , were the ones with charles taze russell as the president as being the organization that jesus christ appointed over all his belongings and nominated them as the one true religion to dispense food at the proper time ?.

when joseph f rutherford took over the organization contrary to charles taze russells instructions regarding a successor did that negate the appointment that jesus christ gave ?

i think so .how about you.. and then changing the name that jesus christ gave his blessing to the ibsa for jehovahs witnesses under j.f.rutherford to change that name which was pre-christian and has no basis in the new testament which is all about witnessing acknowledgeing and highlighting the name of jesus above every other name as is stated time and time again in the christian greek scriptures,.

Imagine if they had just kept the name "international bible students". It would be a lot more accepted by the general population (imho), and it would give a lot more latitude to get stuff wrong. As a student, you would always be learning.

I don't know DTM. I think the problem is more in their teachings than in their name. It's the teachings that make people think they are students who attend no accredited school. It's like attending Trump University. LOL

Doesnt this information negate any claim jehovahs Witnesses have on jesus Christ approving them in 1919 ?
