For what it's worth, if you have decent cooking skills you can do a reasonable job with any meaty saucy dish on basmati rice, flavored with McCormick's Red Curry seasoning. Their Garam Masala isn't bad either. I'm not saying it's authentic, but it's "decent" and extremely simple.

If it moves when your mouse pointer hits the edge of the screen, it's definitely some built-in "zoom" capability. Do you have a "function" key (usually "Fn") ? If hte Fn key is printed in a different color, look for a pair of symbols of the same color on a pair of keys somewhere else on the keyboard, one with a plus sign (+) and one with a minus (-). Then try pressing Fn key and the minus key at the same time, and see if it zooms "out".

This guy sounds exactly like any of a number of annoying relatives of mine from Brooklyn who say the damnest things with absolute certainty. Same skills that a used car salesman uses. Plus the teeth-gritting condescending attitude -- you can totally hear how in his mind he's dumbing it down for the idiots in the audience. I can smell these kind of people a mile away. ::puke::
