Elpiro, how do you expect to be taken seriously, when you are breaking your own rules? - JW are basically FORBIDEN to communicate with apostates or with those who are no longer JW.

Simple explanation why "Anointed" # going up (from the CO)
by InterestedOne ini asked the co, if the heavenly calling was closed in 1935, why is the number of anointed going up?
he simply said that the society no longer says when the heavenly calling was closed.
have they discarded the 1935 teaching?

In 2005 two new members—Geoffrey W. Jackson and Anthony Morris were added to the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Both started pioneering in 1971. The article didn't say when they were born or baptized but I doubt they were around in 1935.

"In a flock there always seemed to be stubborn sheep. For some reason they just didn’t want to obey the shepherd. At times, other sheep were inclined to follow a disobedient one. So the shepherd would try to train and discipline the stubborn ones. For example, he would leave such a sheep in the pen alone. In time, some accepted correction and followed the shepherd’s directions. Sheep that remained stubborn ended up on our dinner table."

Dear Confuzzled!
I trully believe that your anger is misdirected. The belief: "No sex without marriage" is based on the Bible. The "rule" is there for protection for those involved and potential children born out of that union. If your BF really was JW you would never found yourself in the situation you are in. It's him you should be angry at - he is not a JW yet he uses WTS as his shield. He doesn't want to marry you and he is a coward to tell you it's HIM who is at fault. It would be more fruitful to resolve the situation with him than to be angry at some "organization" that has nothing to do with your situation. Think about it.

Such a melodrama! You wanted a "paradise" you went for it. It didn't work out for you so you have to blame somebody. But everybody is responsible for making their own decisions unless somebody is holding a gun to their head (literally) and Jehovah's witnesses certainly do not do that. I know - I went in on my own will and I left on my on will.
