  I want my donations back!

  i want to ask wt for my donations back.

  i live in canada and i have income tax receipts from them so i can prove how much i gave them.... anybody ever tried something like that or heard about somebody doing it?

  what approach should i take?.

  My friend's Mom apologized to her kids for teaching them lies!

  she has been a witness most of her life.

  her three kids were brought up as jw in a communist country and the whole family suffered reprisals from the regime for being in the org.

  (father was well know elder).

  Political correctness. What is it to you?

  i see it as a form of discrimination against non mainstream ideas and opinions.

  that's why i don't understand why so many hold it as of a great value.

  for me it was when i learned that gb makes their decisions by 2/3 majority vote, not by direction of holy spirit..

  Waiting for the JWs to come to my door...

  i read about the new tract distribution and thought to myself how should i react, when they come to my door.

  finally today, after finishing my morning coffee, i got an idea!

  i'll take the tract, look at it, look at them, and with a nice smile rip it up and hand it back to them with :"have a great day!

  this is a direct quotation from wt july 15 article "feeding many through the hands of a few" par.

  "remember, in his prophetic illustration of the wheat and the weeds, jesus warned that a newly planted field of wheat (anointed christians) would be oversown with weeds (imitation christians).

  the groups, he said, would be allowed to grow side by sideundisturbed until the harvest, which would come at a conclusion of a system of things.

  when i was little ... i thought that when people die they lie in their coffins and think about all the nice things they experienced during their lives.

  therefore, creating pleasant memories should be the main purpose in life.
