my daughter is in the hospital with pneumonia, and possibly a blood clot in her lung.
they'll be testing through the night...apparently, her heart is enlarged as well.
she is scared... and if her jw father catches wind of it, he will be there trying to intefere with her treatment... he lives close by to her, so i'll be flying down in the morning....to head him off at the pass.
I am so so sorry to hear your beautiful daughter Ali is so poorly, I am praying for you all and for Ali to have a full recovery, how awful that she has had to go through this, but she is blessed to have a lovely mum who will sacrifice and give her the love and care she needs.

he was just transferred there this afternoon, and my stepson will be driving me up there tomorrow.
it must be a nice hospital, because they have valet parking, a consierge, and a sofa bed and big screen tv in his room.

have you noticed that the recent trolls are now claiming that if anybody drew conclusions or made decisions based on what the society was printing, it was their own fault?.
kind of "we didn't force you to believe what we said or adjust your life because of it.
you chose to think we were teaching the end would come in <insert time range>".
No one asked me to believe in God or put faith in him that was my choice, but I didn't ask for my faith and conscience to be hijacked and continually blackmailed with any decision I would make, for ex. the watchtower has often stated over the years concerning college or higher education. " Of course a person can go into higher education but a MATURE CHRISTIAN [Black mail] would put kingdom interests first".
What mindset brainwashed witnessed would want to be seen as an "immature Christian". It's not your arm being twisted but your mind. Your conscience is being black mailed.
robinhoodxldr noticed its been 8 years since i first posted and only 6 posts.
i'll be 53 next year and along with my slightly younger wife lady marion we have both been busy making a living trying to save up for our retirement in this down economy.
sometimes i find myself wishing we had all the money we spent on dress clothes and gas money attending meetings over all the years.

Sounds like youv'e been neglected and ignored over the years as many of us on here were, but you do matter to us there are some very kind people on here always ready to support and help. We have all had to start a new life and make new friends which takes time and effort, I was a born in, I was baptised over thirty years ago.

i live in nc near oompa, and he has become a good friend with my wife and i over the last few years.. so as an update, my wife visited oompa today!
he's recovering, but has a long recovery to go.

Jesus said my yoke is kindly and my load is light. Serving the true Lord should be a refreshing experience, not something that holds you in dread.
