  Already it starts.

  my grandmother hasn't even been put to rest yet and already, my mother starts with "you know that grandma's greatest wish was for you to get reinstated.".

  then, one of my siblings tells me that another of my siblings not only said she wouldn't come to grandma's memorial if i went but also that sibling who called me should not still be talking to me; even though i called her to tell her that grandma died.. i am facing the fact that my family may not even give me details of the memorial directly because they won't want me to go.

  i don't know if i want to go to another funeral that is really just a commercial for the wts instead of talking about the person who is gone at all.

  Missing your grandmothers memorial, will be something you will always regret, and will never have a second chance to correct it.. especially if you avoid going, because a sibling dont want you to attend.. let the sibling miss the service, and be miserable for years, if thats the mentality by which he/she operates. About reinstating yourself, I would bet that ultimately, your grandmother would want you to do what you feel in your heart is the right thing to do, not what others think you should do! Take your exjw friend and go, pay your final respects!

  What little things used to excite you as a JW?

  i would get excited when i was younger and would study the watchtower and see that this weeks study only had 19 paragraphs.

  (made the study seem shorter,lol).

  when a meeting would get canceled because of snow (which was rare) and i would get to stay home and watch a cheers or the cosby show.

  What Brand of Toothpaste do you use?

  i need your advice.... i've used pepsodent since i was a little boy.

  however, since i have stopped shopping at walmart, i am having trouble finding it now.

  i have about another week's worth left in this tube, then i'm going to have to change brands.

  always get the isle seats?

  did anyone else besides me ever notice that men always get the isle seat at the meetings?

  (kh) unless of course all the isle seats are taken and a man arrives late.

  My reason for sitting in the aisle chair, I am 6 foot, 5 in.. No way you can sit in the middle w/ long legs.. The aisle chair at least let you sit a bit sideways, where you could kinda let it all hang out in the aisle.. Was much more comfortable for me, anyway!

  Boy.. I sure miss them hard, cramped stadium seats!!!

  Discussion with The Elders

  i spent a couple of hours yesterday going over things with a couple of elders, which was decent of them to give me a saturday afternoon.

  they wanted to refer to the watchtower article to find points of agreement and common gound.

  there were some of course since i still believe in god, creation and the bible (at least any doubts i had i was not ready to share at this time).

  its my birthday and i got some anais anais body mist, a buffy "watchers guide" book, and some angel innocence perfume and shower mousse.. my bf says he will buy me an outfit when i'm better, too,.
