  There was a yahoo site called will's swearing club specifically for swearing & flaming. It ended up being a battle between the english & the yanks, & it was lots of fun. God, I miss it! I also miss arguing w/ the folks that were posting all the anti-jew anti-israel stuff, even though I understand fully why Simon stopped it, & probably would have done so myself.

  Well, this is in my neck of the woods, so time to take on my secret identity as "evilslave man!" & get to work. First, I'm gonna calll that DA & tell him that this piece of garbage will be required to be evangelizing, then his P.O, that's parole officer, not presiding overseer. Then I'm gonna go protest at his hearing. Anybody w/ me? I'll even try to get it on the local news.

  well, i was talking on the phone to my best friend and we started talking about aliens, spirits, etc.

  and eventually we got around to discussing the ouija board.

  since i was raised a jw and have only been out a year, the ouija board was of course forbidden and even a little scary.

  trying to quit smoking

  I am on Zyban too, it's so expensive though(as insurance won't pay for it) I guess they figure lung cancer is less expensive?

  Thats why you have to find a doctor that will presribe "wellbutrin" (zyban) for "depression". Then ins urance will pay for it, nudge nudge, wink wink.

  Reverse Thinking

  for years i've been reading and talking to people who are out of the organization either by being df'ed or da'ed themselves from the so called "truth".. my main concern is that once the former jdubs are out, they start to reverse their thinking from everything the jdubs had learned that is considered a "no no", ranging from sex, satanism, getting into pornagraphy, drugs, alcohol, rock music, smoking, reading ouji boards and anything else they can get their hands into that was considered forbidden by the wt.

  even some decided to reverse their thinking from believing "there is a god" to "there is no god".. while i can understand the anger and bitterness that has resulted from realizing how they have been deceived by the wt for many years.

  i am concerned about the destructive behavior that ex-jdubs are getting themselves into.. sure it gives ex-jdubs a sense of total freedom and go wild on everything that was forbidden to them.

  No, it can be a problem, just like w/ any form of abuse, people have a tendency to "act out" their issues.
