All of them are probably now disfellowshipped lol
JWs are trying their darndest to appear like a normal Christian religion, "Look we can haz fun, we just a normal religion that catches a bad wrap, can we haz your pity... and all your monies?"
the governing body not writing their own articles is on this thread: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/topic/370640004/gb-providing-food-helpers-write-articles?size=10&page=1.
but, something more sinister, more serious is taking place in the congregations.
the governing body have allowed very disturbing activities to take place in the kingdom halls and during the conventions.
All of them are probably now disfellowshipped lol

anyone who is a witness or was previously a witness, is aware of the written & un-written rules concerning association with disfellowshipped family members.. there are a multitude of quotes through out the watchtower publications, but these 2 will suffice.. "are you proving yourself holy by not associating with family members or others who are disfellowshipped?
"the clear instruction in the bible is: avoid them.
that means that we have to stay away from them... the bible says that apostates are mentally diseased and that they use their teachings to make others think like them... what must we do to avoid false teachers?
JWs will keep their disfellowshipping ways despite ample objection found within scripture. They'll continue this because the WTS is a cult, saw this short list earlier:
How to identify a Cult:
1) Exclusive. They may say, "We're the only ones with the truth; everyone else is wrong; and if you leave our group your salvation is in danger."
2) Secretive. Certain teachings are not available to outsiders or they're presented only to certain members, sometimes after taking vows of confidentiality.
3) Authoritarian. A human leader expects total loyalty and unquestioned obedience.
The crazy thing is, WTS wrote an article in Awake Janurary 8, 1947 lambasting the Catholic Church for their ex-communication practice calling it, "a pagan practice," and saying, "the weapon of excommunication became the instrument by which the clergy attained a combination of ecclesiastical power and secular tyranny that finds no parallels in history." Then just 5 short years later what do you think the WTS approved as doctrine?
Disfellowshipping. Bunch of hypocrites.
it was a simple question: isn't jesus my "mediator" if i put faith in him like the scriptures say?
the research to that answer, from the w79 4/1 p. 31, was mind blowing.
how dare they deny me a belief firmly stated in the scriptures?
607 definitely was the kickstarter, it opened my mind up to the fact that the organization will willingly hold to false information because of held doctrine. This shook me to my core because before I found this out, I had believed that 607/1914 was our most firmly researched and valid beliefs.
If they lost 1914/1919 then the GB wouldn't hold their claim atop Mount of All Lies, so of course they won't admit to being wrong, they have EVERYTHING to lose over it.
Finding this out removed my previously held notion that I shouldn't question the GB, and replaced it with, I should question EVERYTHING!
It only took me about 6 months or less to drop my belief in JW doctrine, it would take me another year to drop my faith in the Bible. I think I knew the Bible was wrong early on, but I wanted it to be right, so the internal struggle of wanting it to be true vs. my critical thinking raged on for about a year before I finally obliterated my faith completely.
i had a former high school teacher post on facebook about the cyrus cylinder proving the narrative in the book of ezra and daniel.
the article i clicked on was by some christian organization that states the cylinder proves that god moved cyrus to allow the jews to go home and worship.. but no where on this cylinder does it mention the jews.
yet all these people are commenting as if it is fact.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then, same goes for prophecies, there's tons of biblical whatevers odds are something will line up sooner or later to make some kind of superficial connection.
But that just points to another problem with prophecy, they're NEVER really specific about timeframes so how prophetic is it anyway? It's always more coincedental than prophetical.
honestly, they really have nothing going for them except that they are in an exclusive club.
they are in a better place than anyone else.
they have it over everyone else because of their superiority.
In da club, Hall full of dubs, join our sect if you wantin' Hovas love, I'm in here taking notes, so come gimme a hug, if ya into brotherly love.
Go Yeezy its ya dooms day, we gonna study like its the last days, we gonna sip ya blood like we anointed, and you know we be at your door in the mornin'
when i was baptized as a child i remember quite well that there were six steps that one must take before getting baptized.
i recently looked up some articles on this subject on jw.org and the latest article says there are 9 steps.
they now include field service and going to the meetings as steps.
creationist museum acquires 5,000-year-old t. rex skeleton.

tulsa, okin a major coup for the growing field of creation science, the perfectly preserved remains of a 5,000-year-old tyrannosaurus rex were delivered monday to tulsa's creationist museum of natural history.. .
LOL I better not see this posted by JW friends on my FB page...
I remember 3 of my friends posting the story about how the chariots from the Exodus were found and they were like, "Just more proof for the Bible!" , "Jehovah has revealed another of his works!" Etc...
It was a story from worldnewsdailyreport... I told them all to check their sources, WNDR is a fake news site.
This simple task of vetting a satire site just impressed upon me the JWs woeful lack of source-checking skill or even the thought that one might want to/should do so.
i'm just curious if any body knows or can give an example of a kingdom hall that needed renovating/repairing after the kh bank accounts were stripped.
At my old congregation the local BOE had already voted to use funds, they even took the congregation vote on the proposal to build an expansion on the back of the hall to build it into an apartment for C.O. visits or when we have any special speakers in town, etc... They had the funds, the BOE unanimously voted yes, then came the money grubbing letter from WTS...
They were told that the money could still be used for their project, they would just submit their proposal to the WTS and they would get their funds approved. Once the WTS got their money, the subsequent proposal to use their funds was denied.
The BOE just took it in stride, I saw it as straight up robbery, WE raised that money, WE allocated those funds to be used at our hall, WTS takes the money and then tells us how we can't use the money WE saved.
i've spent the last 6 months or so really in depth into ttatt, really angry at times, cursing the cult that is the wts led by the fds, and today i feel like i've found a new fire.
i'd been completely opposed to listening to anything to do with the organization, but today i watched the brie video on youtube, young high school girl pouring her heart out in opposition of the wts and its practices.. from there, i found jwstruggle on youtube, johncedars, and derekohare... it's just a wonderful thing finding people willing to out the wts for what it is.
i had felt such anger, like, they're getting away with their bologna, but to see people like this making stands against the wts is an amazing source of hope.. besides forums such as this, what have you found that helped you?.

i watched/ listened to the brave and courageous souls on youtube who bravely recorded their jc's.
you really see a different and horrid side to the elders there.
it might sound whimpy but i don't think i would be able to stand strong like those guys did.
