so i have been looking up these different articles to read for myself...one problem.the last time we got a disc was 2015 and i used my mil's disc to down load it to my computer.

they did a update to it last year over the internet, the program updated it's self.

so everyone is supposed to get all excited about the invitation work starting tomorrow, according to the announcement from the platform.. maybe this makes sense if you're giving out invitations in the city where the convention is, but what if you're many hours away?.

a huge part of western canada is scheduled to attend edmonton alberta this july.

so how does that go over giving out invitations in winnipeg, about a 13 hour drive(that's just driving time).. i know some are actually planning on flying there, so i can't see getting excited about getting the public to make the trek.. i was curious how this is going over in other areas?.

At the convention they will have an experience on Saturday afternoon interviewing a pioneer from a distant congregation who met someone at the convention that they gave an invitation to. It could be total bs but it stops the rank and file from questioning the invitation work.

did anyone notice the blatant stereotyping in the ' remember the wife of lot' video?.

the only thing missing with the oriental family was a pony tailed servant named 'hopsing' and that they all go off to work at the family laundry.. the mexican family ate tacos, refried beans, and hotsauce ('not there is anything wrong with hotsauce'....,sienfeld) at every meal, and of course the dad was a landscaper.

the elders only have to fake it for cos visit, then the poor sheep get shorn for anther 6 months and just when publisher billy thinks the co will save their souls from these tyrants elders a new co comes onto the seen, and of course he is trained only to listen to the elders.

so the vicious cycle of religious rape continues until billy and his mates burnout..

I have to also agree. Small congregations are the shits. As a brother you are stuck doing all kinds of crap. Accounts, giving talks on school each week, running the sound board and doing service arrangements when elders are gone almost every weekend.

It is much easier to hide out and fade in a big hall.
