  just looking at the pictures in tomorrow's wt study makes me think of the nightmares i used to have as a child.

  and nowadays the pictures are sometimes more realistic, so for any who are truly mentally in, this has a terrible effect on them and even their life choices.

  looking in as a pimo or pomo it seems almost comical that adults would believe in this sci-fi bible fan-fiction, but it's not funny when we remember that all ages of the r&f are being manipulated by the gb by these cheap and evil means.. .

  I looked over the wt study article. It is more of the same guilt, shame and subtle death threats. It is obvious that this approach works well for the organization or they would change direction.

  Narcissistic Elders/Pioneers

  today, while listening to a book that covered narcissism, i was a bit surprised to find a connexion with those “seeking privileges” in the organization.

  while not being paid, pioneers, ministerial servants and elders invest a great level of time and effort in upholding their responsibilities.

  fear of being destroyed by god for not doing enough.

  I’ve known more than a few narcissistic elders. They will sacrifice their own economic security for the opportunity to be a big fish in a small pond. I genuinely think some of them would have a total breakdown if they were removed from their position as they voluntarily lead such pathetic lives.

  We lived in a small town with a small congregation. One evening we mowed the unkempt grass at the Kingdom Hall without proper authority. No one ever found out it was us but a local needs part was held the following Wednesday evening about theocratic order.

  PIMO Elder with a Dilemma

  i haven’t been on here in awhile and this is my second user name because i was busted by my pimi wife on the first one.

  i have been basically awake since 2013. i have a super dub wife that i love and don’t want to lose and my sick mom in the hall that is a true believer.

  stupid religion has gotten between my wife and i (of course).

  so if someone puts their life into serving the cult for free at bethel, then say after 25 or 30 years they are not able to for one reason or another such as illness, or family issue or old age, does the cult have any safety net for these people or is it you serve until you can't and when you can't you just go away?

  do you ever find yourself starting to hum a jw tune subconsciously?

  several times while driving alone i started singing one of them, and then i get to an offensive lyric which jolts me 'awake', and i say something to myself like 'no!

  if anybody heard they'd think i was a few bricks shy of a load 😆.

  since when has it become cool to pray for the gb?

  i noticed that at the begining of my fade back in 2015, it had already been there for a good while and was already getting on my nerves.

  i means, i grew up in it, but can't remember much further than the 90s and i don't remember this being always in the payers.

  Merger aftermath

  a couple of months ago, i reported on my congregation being disolved and merged with another.. on sept 1, cong b merged with cong a using the same hall, thereafter using cong a's meeting times.

  also nearby cong c moved into the hall using cong b's meeting times and cong c's kh is being put up for sale.. i've since been to both sunday meetings and both midweek meetings.

  at all, the parking lot is totally full, cars have to park around the corner and on the street.
