  Regular Pioneers no longer appointed by Branch!

  a letter was read this thursday from the platform that the branch will no longer approve or remove regular pioneers.. it was called a simplified arrangement that the local body of elders would decide who should be appointed or removed as a regular pioneer and then to inform the branch of any appointments/deletions.

  .

  i guess the bethelite who had that assignment is now unemployed.

  Is it a way to seperate the main Watchtower organization from responsibility

  I thought that might B the reason too

  if the pioneer turns out to be a child rapist or an axe murderer the main branch can wash their hands clean of the matter and the local elders are left

  If it is on the 21st of April or there abouts it is a zone visit for Canada. Our congregation is NOT invited but a neigh boring one is invited and I herd it from one of their elders.

  One of the governing body is supposed to speak and it is a closed circuit televised event from the branch I guess they will pack as many as they can into the assembly hall.

  I suppose some of you are right too it will be another opportunity for them to beg for more donations

  growing up as jw it was constantly drummed into us that we're not like churches having different classes (e.g.

  preists).

  however it is quite apparent that there are ranks within the jehovah's witnesses.. this is the list i have so far.

  1. weak publisher with no visible theocratic resources, these are allowed to fade very rapidly, without asking "Why?". 2. Weak publisher with worldy riches, looking at all Satan's world has provided this brother with a free cup of coffee by a "Clover" machine.

  I've noticed this difference too I've you've got money and are inactive you're still welcome at the kingdom hall' if you don't have a pot to pee in and inactive they don't notice you at all

  Jehovahs Witnesses and Entitlement

  i've noticed an attitude among the friends that they feel that they are owed something by society.

  example: at the last meeting one of the elders gave a talk about how "the system" is getting harder and harder to make a living.. .

  i know its a recession out there, but to blame satan the devil for your economic woes is kinda harsh don't you think.

  Is it really getting harder to make a living or do WE make it harder on ourselves.

  Houses are getting bigger.

  Cars have more options as standard features than ever before

  We expect a better standard of living than our parents, grandparents, great grandparents etc etc

  All of this comes at a cost, our time and our stress levels

  Jw's somehow think that they can have what everyone else has with no college education, and working part time whilst pioneering

  there is something seriously wrong with the monetary calculations in JWland

  Oh I forgot! you have to trust in Jehover to provide

  JW's don't: Go to university or Work Overtime or meeting nights

  Spend a ridiculous amount of money driving around in field service

  Many sisters don't work but pioneer and home school the kids so that the next generation is broke too

  I think

  instead of blaming ole Satan for your money problems

  get out of bed

  get a job

  get on with your life
