a car that wasn't used! but I would be tied down to payments and couldn't focus on the ministry work... I should really get a car thats not about to brake down.

i will start....i can speak conversational albanian....thanks to the foreign language field...really useful in everyday life as a cleaner....sniff...why didnt i pick mandarin?

..would be useful when they take over the world....but one day i will find an albanian to talk to ...that or a needle in a haystack....the emmerdalian world of jw's

hi all, i am new to the forum and recently left the witnesses.

i was excited to see this site and enjoyed reading a lot of the posts.

What was your initial reaction to finding out the religion is a cult?

mine was filled with shock and anger but mostly anger.

it made me feel that way because i have never been lied to like that growing up in the religion with it being all you know.

"OH MY GOD ITS A CULT!!! HOLY $#!+ its a Cult... holy F*** my whole life its a lie"....... *grabbing my head in pain* "OH MY GOD ITS A CULT!" that went on for like a half a week straight... I still have to shake my head and remind myself sometimes

when everything was new and i was a child there was a feeling of relief knowing that i was born in to the truth and i was so thankful for that.

i was thankful to my mom for being strong and raising us to have such strong faith.

i was thankful to my father for.... making my childhood horrible, there for making it so everyday we had to really rely on jehovah to make it threw, that in turn build my faith stronger.

Thank you so much Black Sheep! that is wonderful advice... I just wish i got it sooner but i'm following it from here out. I just wish it was as easy as just tapping them on the shoulder and saying "ps your in a cult. just thought you would like to know." and them be like "really, ok i'm done" lol oh well. that is so helpful! my husband was like "I wish we would have herd that last week." but we will be applying that now! thank you thank you!!!
